Business Analysis Competency Enhancement Workshop (Based on IIBAs BABOK - Business Analysis Body of Knowledge V2.

0) Business analysis is the set of tasks and techniques used to analyze the business needs of an organization and to recommend the most appropriate and costeffective solution that meets those business needs, goals and objectives. Multiple studies have confirmed that most defects in products, services or solutions delivered to stakeholders are due to ineffective business analysis, including poor requirements definition and poor change management, which translates to major project cost escalations. This program equips the participants with the tools, techniques and competencies to be successful Business Analysts. ABOUT THE PROGRAM: 1. The primary objective of this program is two-fold: a. Enhance the core business analysis competencies of the participants, based on global business analysis best practices b. Prepare participants to confidently take and pass the CBAP / CCBA exam 2. The program delivery is heavily based on experience sharing, discussions, exercises and case studies to reinforce understanding of the concepts, techniques and best practices discussed during the program 3. This program facilitates preparation for the CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) and CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) certification exams, through a series of practical exercises and exam-style questions that are closest to the actual exam PROGRAM DELIVERABLES: 1. Strong understanding of business analysis best practices, techniques and the BABOK 2. Strong enablement and confidence to take the CBAP or CCBA exam 3. Participant handout, comprising of: a. Hard copy of all the course slides b. Hard copy of CBAP-style practice questions c. Hard copies of useful templates and checklists for business analysis activities, discussed during the program d. Exercises and case studies to practically demonstrate effective performance of business analysis activities e. Hard copies of quick reference documents to facilitate preparation for the CBAP or CCBA exam 4. Participation certificate, using which a. Participants will be able to claim 21 contact hours mandatory to apply for the CBAP and CCBA certification exams b. Existing certified PMPs (Project Management Professional) will be able to claim 35 PDUs for their PMP certification under Category 4 PROGRAM DURATION & DATES: Wed, 27th to Sun, 31st Oct 10 5 Days (40 Hrs) PROGRAM INVESTMENT: Rs 25,000/- plus 10.3% Service Tax

PREREQUISITES: There are no specific prerequisites for this program, however practicing professionals would be able to better appreciate the program.
