Creating an Opening for Strap Hook: 1) Put hook-knife lever arm into gap 2) Enlarge opening using flat end of hook-knife handle 3) Raise strut to desired height by lifting auto-lock lever. Position strut to required location 4) Place strap hook into hole created by hook-knife (inset 1 and 2) 5) Gently tighten strap by using the turbo ratchet 6) Tighten struts 1 and 2 simultaneously until vehicle is stable

Create Further Enhanced Stabilisation Using Adjustable Wedge: 1) Raise strut to desired height by lifting auto-lock lever. Position strut to required location. 2) Remove strap securing bolt from base of strut 3) Adjust wedge to required height 4) Pull out sufficient strapping and place under car around wedge and back to strut 5) Position wedge and manually roll in surplus strapping. Tighten strap by using turbo ratchet

Stabilising Overturned Car: Option 1: Raise strut to desired height by lifting auto lock lever. Position strut to required location Place strap hook under window opening. Gently tighten using turbo ratchet Repeat on other side of car and simultaneously tighten both ratchets to obtain stability. Benefit: Straps do not obstruct the rear of the vehicle for extrication of casualty, and rescue work from this point. Option 2: Raise and position struts as above. Remove strap securing bolts from base of stuts and pull out sufficient strapping Cross over straps through rear car window and fix to base of opposing strut. Relocate strap securing bolts. Tighten both straps simultaneously until vehicle is stable Option 3: Raise and position struts as above Remove strapping and bolts as above Cross over straps outside of car as above Tighten as above
