Examination Tips
In this section of the PMR English Language paper, students are given 10 questions to answer. Students are to search for information based on a selection of graphics and short texts from the list below : Schedule Short Text Poster Message Notice Advertisement Cartoon Strip Dialogue Pie Chart Bar Graph Label Picture Symbols Announcements

1. Read and understand the graphics ,signs or short texts carefully. 2. Focus on the details for example the heading or title , data and the small print given in the signs and short texts. 3. Use your previous knowledge to identify and recall signs , notices or symbols that you have seen before. 4. Read the question again to note down the requirement of the question. 5. Look at all the given options carefully . 6. Eliminate the options which are totally wrong by crossing them out before choosing the BEST answer. 7. Move on to the next question when you are in difficulty of getting an answer. This will save time. 8. Come back to the question again later. 9. Check ALL answers before going on to the next part of the question paper. 1
