The Spirit's gonna get you. This seems like it happens to all of us around this time of year. Yes, it even happened to Ebenezer Scrooge in triplicate!
Sound familiar, yes that's right......its Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol the Musical". This wonderful score brings new life to the traditional classic with many opportunities for vocal solos, dance and speaking parts. For example, Bob Cratchet who is employed by Mr. Scrooge, and of course Mrs. Cratchet and the Cratchet children. Oh and Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig a happy couple who love a Hoe Down. And there's Fred, Mr. Scrooge's happy go lucky nephew, who just wants his uncle to love Christmas. The Ghost of Marley, Mr. Scrooge's business partner in life and those crazy spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future who take Mr. Scrooge on a journey where he learns the real meaning of Christmas, and finally, all of the townspeople and shopkeepers who sing and dance their way through the story. Please join us and help make this one of the best performances ever! I am extending the sign up until Friday, September 20th with auditions on Wednesday, September 28th. If you are auditioning for a singing or reading part please come prepared with music or script. Whether you are or are not auditioning please fill out the form attached and return to school NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 27th. Once again I want to thank you for your continued support and cooperation. There are many characters in this production and students in grades 2 thru 8 are encouraged to participate. Auditions: Monday, September 28th right after school at 3:15. Auditions are for those students who would like to be a principal character. NOTE: You do not need to audition to participate in this production.

Performance Dates: December 6th & 7th, 2013
