Wouri Second Bridge: Getting Set for Presidential Cornerstone

Bonaberi The signs are telltale that this phase would be the right one. Last January, the Douala City Council wheeled out workers to a site near the new offices of the Brigade Territorial at the town side of the Wouri Bridge. Construction of a monster tent went on full speed. The citizens were told that they were erecting a tent to shelter President Biya and his retinue for the foundation stone planting of the much touted Wouri Bridge. Then the work suddenly stopped and the workers slipped away. Mr. Biya was not coming after all. Three months ago, the workers returned and the monster tent a new one is on again. This seems to be second time lucky; the president will be here when the moon is seen in the night skies for the ceremony.

The new bridge proper is an all-French affair. France provided a loan of 130 million Euros, approximately FCFA or 84.5 billion for the bridge. The money came from the French Development Agency. The government of Cameroon is providing 32 billion FCFA. But it is said that the bridge will cost some 119 billion FCFA from start to finish. Despite a very strong challenge from the Chinese, whom, some say, had a better design, a kyrie of French companies ran away with the deal. The Chinese were doing fine in the bidding for the bridge until the Secretary General in the presidency of the republic ordered Public Works minister, Patrice Amba Salla to declare the French concern Sogea-Sa-tom winner. The Chinese bid was 10 billion FCFA off the mark, Minister Amba Salla told Mutations newspaper last September 13. The Sogea-Sa-tom/Eiffel/Soletanche-Bachy/Lavigne Cheron-Greisch group of enterprises is building the bridge. Another French concern, Razel, lost out in the bidding. The bridge that Sogea-Satom is building is a 760 metres long curve. It will have five lanes and two pavements for pedestrians. There will be one rail tract. The design was done by Lavigne-Cheron, another French concern. The project will take 36 months and it will be finished. There are 8 months for studies in the 36 months. French, Ambassador Bruno Gain stated, recently that France was committed to support President Paul Biya of Cameroon in his greater achievements programme and also expressed the countrys readiness to contribute to financing the Lom Pangar Hydro electricity Dam project in the East Region of Cameroon.

La Bataille de Bonaberi aura Lieu

Bonabri - Il pleut des cordes ce dbut de Septembre Bonabri mais dans cette Inner City ou bourgade rgne un calme prcaire. Les 500.000 Citizens de cette agglomration vaquent ses occupations quotidiennes. Apparemment. Mais, attention. Derrire cet apparence, les forces politiques affutent les armes. Le RDPC a mis en marche deux vritables quartiers gnraux, le premier derrire la chefferie Bonambappe et le deuxime sis a Ancienne Route derrire Duba. Le rdpc ne fait pas de mystre sur son intention d'en dcoudre avec le SDF Bonaberi. 'Nous allons changer Bonaberi', dclare un candidat. En projets, le rdpc se propose de : demander aux entreprises bases Bonabri d'organiser un emploi massif des jeunes,

lutter contre accaparement de terres par des entreprises vreux, faire quelque chose propos de l'tat trs dsastreux des routes a Bonabri, crer les endroits et les centre de loisirs pour les jeunes et les enfants, assurer que tous les propritaires terriens sont protgs dans leurs droits notamment par la tenue des runions avec les chefs de terre, tenir des runions avec les chefs du villages et les responsables villageois afin d'assurer que tous les propritaires ont des certificats d'occupation , faciliter l'obtention de titres fonciers, etc . Bref, le RDPC dclare qu'il veut amliorer la condition de vie Bonabri: eau potable, clairage public, etc. 'Je m'engage avec mon supplant Me Achu Ngu Tabe Julius mettre en uvre le projet lectorale du rdpc propos aux populations lors de la campagne, ' dclare Mme Kamseu pouse Gainsom Ccile, tte de liste rdpc pour les lgislatives a Bonaberi au journal La Scne. John Kumase ne recrute que les gens de son village, de sa famille, etc. le rdpc nous rvle que la somme de 130 millions de FCFA pour l'approvisionnement en eau a Bonaberi ont pris le larges vers certaines poches sdf ; qu'une partie des fonds destins pour la construction d'une Women Empowerment Centre Mambanda a t dtourne; que le ciment gracieusement offert par Cimencam pour le rfection de routes a Bonaberi est soit partag entre les militants du SDF soit vendu et l'argent empoch par les autorits du SDF. Et le rdpc est aussi moqueur. 'Le maire SDF dclare que c'est lui qui a construit la Nouvelle Route, que c'est lui qui a construit La Place du Centenaire, que c'est lui qui est en train de construire le deuxime pont sur le Wouri, Ces gens sont fous' crache un autre candidat. " Ils n'ont rien fait ! Boutons les dehors ! " Nous allons obtenir le point de vue de SDF dans notre prochaine dition.

Alpicam Chasse ses Voisins

Drle de faon dtendre son entreprise en accaparant la terre de ses voisins que celle mise en marche par la socit Alpicam, une boite de transformation du bois base Bonaberi, prcisment Mambanda. Selon les informations venant de la prfecture, le gouverneur du littoral ainsi que le prfet et, bien sr, le sous-prfet de Douala IV auraient t saisi par une plainte dclare une source venant de riverains sur ce quils dclarent tre une tentative dAlpicam daccaparer leur maisons et terres par la force et le forcing. Les riverains auraient recruts des avocats et ils auraient saisi ladministration. Selon nos sources, la prfecture aurait renvoy les avocats dAlpicam vers la ngociation avec les riverains.

Lhistoire ne date pas daujourdhui. Prtextant quelle aurait reu du ministre de lindustrie lautorisation de crer un primtre de scurit de 75m tout autour de la socit, Alpicam a mis en marche une procdure de faire dguerpir ses voisins. On donne dj des montants dintressement conu par Alpicam et ses ngociateurs savoir certains dmarcheurs vreux recruts parmi les bordiers. Les bordiers disent que ces montants sont fixs unilatralement par Alpicam et ne tiennent compte de rien. Les riverains dnoncent aussi le fait que Alpicam et ses agents, notamment le chef du bloc et un homme daffaires aurait annoncs ces montants au publique question, sans doute, denvoyer les voleurs chez eux alors quils nont rien reus dAlpicam. Nous ne comprenons pas comment une socit qui se trouve dans sa clture en bton arm, avec, peut-tre, un titre foncier de ceci depuis 30 ans, subitement trouve quil faut tendre en accaparant nos maisons, se plaints un riverain, militaire retrait de son tat. Je vous dclare quAlpicam ne se trouve pas dans la zone industriels de Bonaberi, mais dans la communaut et sur la terre indigne, prolonge notre interlocuteur. Donc le fait de demander un primtre de scurit es faux et usage du faux. Notre enqute a t perturb par les lections du 30 septembre prochaine mais vu lampleur du phnomne daccaparement des terres en Afrique, et au Cameroun, et vu son incidence sur la paix sociale, Daily Times se proposes de faire un dossier sur laccaparement de terres au Cameroun avec le cas de Bonaberi comme exemple dcole. Nous contacterons la direction dAlpicam, le sous-prfet de Bonaberi IV, le prfet du Wouri, le gouverneur de la rgion, le snateur, les dputs, et mme le ministre de lindustrie, pourquoi pas. Putin said: "This was very unpleasant and surprising for me. We talk to them [the Americans], and we assume they are decent people, but he [Kerry] is lying and he knows that he is lying. This is sad." When Secretary of State Colin Powell was sent by the criminal bush regime to lie to the UN, Powell and his chief of staff claim that Powell did not know he was lying. It did not occur to the Secretary of State that the White House would send him to the UN to start a war that killed, maimed, and dispossessed millions of Iraqis on the basis of total lies. The despicable John Kerry knows that he is lying. Here is the American Secretary of State, and Obama, the puppet president, knowingly lying to the world. There is not a shred of integrity in the US government. No respect for truth, justice, morality or human life. Here are two people so evil that they want to repeat in Syria what the bush war criminals did in Iraq. How can the American people and their representatives in Congress tolerate these extraordinary criminals? Why are not Obama and John Kerry impeached? The Obama regime has every quality of Nazi Germany and Stasi Communist Germany, only that the Obama regime is worse. The Obama regime spies on the entire world and lies about it.
