In July, we held our 5th Leadership Training Course for the young people. It was a great time of teaching and learning with God being glorified throughout the week. The spirit and attitude of the young people were great. We had many opportunities to fellowship with them during this time and learn more about their struggles, concerns and ambitions for life. Our theme for the week was Living to Lead. Bro. Tom Stastny taught on living a victorious life and God led me to teach on having balance in our lives. Much of what was taught was new and very thought provoking for these youth and they had many questions on how to live the way that God intended for them. Please continue to keep these precious young people in your prayers as they face many pressures and temptations to leave the will of God and pursue their own life in the world. The Devil is fighting and we must continue to exhort and strengthen this next generation. Our time with the Bro. and Mrs. Tom Stastny was such a blessing! Not only did our family personally benefit from our time with them, they were also a great help and encouragement to the youth and ministries here. Bro. Tom taught the Tuesday night mens Bible study and focused on overcoming addictions through the renewing of the mind. He also taught evangelism courses in the institute and preached several times in the church services. Both he and his wife spent much time with the young people and were able to encourage them to continue to seek the will of God in every area of their lives. We were sad to see them leave but were so thankful for the time that God allowed them to be with us. In our last update, we mentioned that the outreach in Hlalanikahle was growing and the people were desiring to see a church begin in this area. Over the past few months, we have been teaching on the Church and what Gods Word says a church is to be. We asked the people to begin to think and pray for a name for the church. During this time, we prayed that God would give unity and that the people would be together in the name choice. Hope Baptist Church was the name that was decided and we plan to have an opening service soon to launch the beginning of the church. We ask that that you would please pray that God would continue to bless in this work and that we would see more people saved, baptized and added to the church. God has been and continues to bless us with His care, love, and provisions. We are all doing well and are thankful for the health and strength He gives each day. Titus and Tanner are growing and changing so very fast. Titus is doing well in his schooling and Tanner is looking forward to the day he can be in school too! Rebekah is doing well with the pregnancy and everything appears to be well with the baby. We appreciate all of your prayers, love and support and we pray that God will bless you for your faithfulness.
