    Important:
    The following server hardware specifications are categorized by the number of database users. The value for all specifications is considered the least that a client can have without considerable performance degradation. These specifications do neither recommend nor advice any brand or model, it shall depend on the clients preference.

    1 to 15 Database users

    Minimum Requirement Component Processor Internal L2 Cache Memory

    1.86 GHz, 2 cores, 64 bit 4 MB, 800MHz FSB 4GB DDR2/DDR3 - 3 hard disk configuration (SAS or SATA) without RAID a.) 1st HD for OS, Oracle Software and Oracle Home b.) 2nd HD for Oracle database datafiles c.) 3rd HD for Oracle Archive logs - 6 hard disk configuration (SAS or SATA) with RAID a.) 1st Controller volume group - 2 hard drives in RAID 1 configuration b.) 2nd Controller volume group - 3 hard drives in RAID 5 configuration c.) Last hard drive for Oracle Archive logs
