Antihelminthic drug for dogs and cats

Package information Active ingredients: Fenbendazolum 1 ml of the paste contains: Pyranteli embonas Praziquantelum 75 mg 72 mg 25 mg

Excipients: Simeticon, butylhydroxyanisol, sodium chloride, sucralosis, fish aroma. Diseases caused by helminths in dogs and cats(Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vuplis, Echinoccus granulosus, Echinocccus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides spp.). Intraocular cysticercosis and spinal neurocysticercosis. Liver impairment. Simultaneous administration of products based on piperazine and possibly other anti-parasitic drugs. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients. Within several hours after administration could occur hypersalivation, vomiting, pulpous stools, urticaria, and possibly elevated body temperature. It is a reaction to proteins released from dying worms; it is not a reaction to the active ingredient.The effect of the product could result in drowsiness of the animal. Dosage for each soecies, route(s) and method of - 0.5 ml paste per 0.5 - 2 kg of live weight. administration:

- 1 ml paste per 2 - 5 kg of live weight.

Dog: Puppies, small canine breeds: - 0.5 ml of paste per 0.5 - 2 kg of body weight- 1 ml paste per 2 - 5 kg of live weight. Moderate canine breeds: - 2 ml of paste per 5 - 10 kg of body weight

Large canine breeds and large beasts: - 2 ml of paste per 10 kg of body weight CANIVERM oral paste is intended for oral administration. Shake well the applicator before each use. Before the first use move the piston so that the line 0 ml was aligned with the upper edge of the applicator, thereby squeeze out the first 1 - 2 ml of the paste, which you discard. The applicator needs to be adjusted to the calculated dose according to the aforementioned scheme by setting the ring on appropriate puncture site. Hold the piston of the syringe, move the scored dispensing ring by turning over the piston so that the inferior edge of the ring was aligned with the scored line of required volume.Ensure that the animal have no food residues in the mouth. Remove the cap of the applicator, place it to the mouth and apply paste to the root of the tongue. After the administration immediately for several seconds lift the head of the animal and ensure that the animal swallows the dose. Do not administer simultaneously with milky feed.The dose should be administered in a single application.It is recommended to worm the young ones from the 3rd to 12th week of age by a single application in an interval of 3 weeks and than regularly every 3 months. Withdrawal period: Storage precautions: Not intended for food-producing animals. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store below 25C. Keep the applicator tightly closed. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label and box.

Special precautions to be taken by the persons administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals Special warnings: Do not smoke, drink or eat while handling the product. Wash hands after use.This product may cause irritation of skin and eyes. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case this happens, immediately wash the site with greater amount of water. In case of accidental ingestion or eye contact, seek immediately medical advice and show the package insert or label to the general practitioner. Individuals with known hypersensitivity to fenbendazole, pyrantel embonate, praziquantel or to any of the excipients should administer the product carefully.
