Destruction-- “n.
1. The act of destroying; demolition; a pulling down; subversion; ruin, by whatever means; as the
destruction of buildings, or of towns. Destruction consists in the annihilation of the form of any thing;
that form of parts which constitutes it what it is; as the destruction of grass or herbage by eating; of a
forest, by cutting down the trees; or it denotes a total annihilation; as the destruction of a particular
government; the destruction of happiness.
2. Death; murder; slaughter; massacre.
There was a deadly destruction throughout all the city. 1 Samuel 5.
3. Ruin. Destruction and misery are in their ways. Romans 3.
4. Eternal death. Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction. Matthew 7.”
Hell-- “n.
1. The place or state of punishment for the wicked after death. Matthew 10. Luke 12.”
Damnation-- “n.

2 Peter 2:3-4
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment
now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to Hell, and delivered them into chains
of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-
ward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Revelation 20:13
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were
in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Revelation 20:14
14 And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.
Conclusions:
The result for those who believe and live for the Gospel will have eternal life with God the Father and
Jesus Christ..
The result for those who don’t believe the Gospel and God’s future judgment will be completely
destroyed (perished) by fire or be tormented with fire for ever.
