Master of Business Administration (MBA) University of Pune MBA is a 2-year full time programme affiliated to University of Pune, which is conducted over 4 semesters of duration of 6 month each. The structure of the MBA programme is academically challenging and stimulating. With the flexibility to incorporate field studies, market surveys, projects, competitions and outdoor activities. The students will be able to choose from any one of the subjects like MBA in Marketing, MBA in Finance, MBA in Human Resource, and MBA in Production & Operations. Eligibility for Admission: The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria: Passed with minimum of 50% marks(45% in backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelors degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidates passing degree examination by part time/distance Learning / correspondence / open school / externally or in one sitting are not eligible for MBA admission. Admission Process: On completion of interviews, we compare the performance of all candidates appearing for the interview and generate a final merit list based on their overall performance. Weight age is given to written test score, academic performance, work experience, group discussion score and personal interview score. Additional weight age will be given to those candidates who have completed / pursuing a four-year degree or any other professional qualification such as CA / CS / ICWA etc. Selection Process: Selection process would consist of Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview. Selection for securing admissions in MBA & PGDM programs would be based on following parameters: Scores obtained by candidate at CAT/MAT/CMAT Exam Performance at GD/PI Past Academic Record (10th / 12th / Graduation) Work Experience (if any) after graduation of at least 1 year or more Specialization Offered A student has the option of specialization in one of the following areas: 1. MBA in Marketing Management 2. MBA in Financial Management 3. MBA in Human Resources Management
