Scholasticus Lex is the official home organization of all Legal Management Majors in FEU Diliman. Our organization aims to develop accountability and conscientiousness among its members equipped with knowledge of leadership, managerial and legal setting. As we cover both areas in management and law, we thought of a project which will best suit our course background. The symposium project is entitled Building Corpo Legal Sensibility. The project aims to establish the significance of knowing the ethical dilemmas, management mishaps, and employment challenges encountered in the corporate stream and their implications. In line with this, the discussion on the relevance of legal application onto corporate mechanisms is integrated. The said symposium shall be divided into 2 namely, Corporate Sphere and Legal Sphere. Under the Corporate Sphere, we have 2 topics to be discussed. First is Profitability vs. Societal Responsibility. really means of being socially responsible. It is basically ethics application between companies and the society. Second is Who do you follow: Your Boss or Yourself? It will cover discussions on realities and solutions on worsening employer employee relationships. It is an ethics application between management and its employees. Under the legal sphere entitled Legal Domain in Business Mechanism, the legal aspects intertwined with business operations will be discussed. With these things, we would like to invite you to attend the symposium which shall be held on October 10, 2013 from 8 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon at FEU Diliman Auditorium. We invited speakers from the corporate and legal fields to impart their knowledge and expertise regarding the matters abovementioned. Should you join the event, there will be a 180 Php registration fee (inclusive of food, certificate and token of participation) per head registering. Moreover, the deadline of payment is on September 30, 2013. Do have your list of participants on or before September 23, 2013 to assure your slots in the said event.
