First things first
It takes 15 seconds to make a first impression and the rest of your life to undo it if it was a negative
one. Observing the “Rule of Twelve” is the key to projecting a positive image.
The first 12 words you speak should include some form of thanks, if appropriate.
The first 12 steps you take should be those of confidence. Walk with a purpose.

use your healthcare wisely for best care

Emergency room (ER) care is very expensive and often there is a long wait. Use the ER when you
think your life is in danger, if you have an onset of severe pain and if part of your body may be
permanently damaged. This situation may include the following: severe breathing problems, chest
pain, major bleeding and sudden, unexplained loss of consciousness.

Use InstaCare clinics when conditions are not life-threatening but require medical attention within
24 hours. No appointment is necessary and most facilities are open seven days a week and offer
extended hours. This can be the best place for the following: sore throats, headaches, sprains,
strains, upper or lower respiratory conditions, minor cuts, nausea, vomiting, broken bones needing
x-rays.

There are also Intermountain KidsCare facilities which offer after hours urgent pediatric services.

bridge to better immunity

In a recent study, volunteers who played bridge boosted their number of CD4 cells, the white
blood cells which help combat illness. Although preliminary the findings suggest brain activity plays
a role in stimulating the body’s immune system. Source: University of California -Berkeley

Clean WAter
Less than 3% of the water found on earth is fresh. Of that amount, more than 60% is trapped in
glaciers, 30% is located underground, and just 3% can be tapped from lakes and rivers. If you
could fit all of the world’s water into a gallon jug, the amount of safe water available for human
consumption would equal about 1 tablespoon.
