Day 01 Morning: Afternoon: Evening: Day 02 Morning: Arrival at Athens Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Activities today will depend on arrival time Dinner in local restaurant. Athens Guided City Tour including the Parliament on Venizelou Boulevard, the Presidential Residence and the Ancient Stadium. Guided tour to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. Walking tour of the historic center (Plaka, Monastiraki, Thission). Dinner in local restaurant. Argolis (Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus) / Olympia Transfer by private bus, to Argolis, Peloponnese. First short stop at the Corinth Canal. On to Epidaurus, visit its famous Theater and the museum. Visit of the archaeological site and the museum of Mycenae. Then coach to Olympia. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Olympia. Olympia / Delphi Morning: Visit the archaeological site and museum of Ancient Olympia, the mythology birth place of the Olympic games. Coach to Delphi via the impressive bridge of Rion-Antirrion. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Delphi. Delphi / Kalambaka Visit of the archaeological site and museum of Delphi; the site of the Delphic oracle, the most important oracle in the classical Greek world, and a major site for the worship of the god Apollo after he slew Python, a dragon who lived there and protected the navel of the Earth. Coach to Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Kalambaka. Arriving, Athens

Day 06 Morning: Kalambaka / Athens Visit the impressive Meteora Monasteries, gigantic rocks hanging in the air.

Afternoon: Departure via Thermopyles, where the famous Battle of Thermopyles took place back in 480 BC. Short stop ot Leonidas statue. Evening: Day 07 Morning: Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Athens. Athens / One Day Cruise To The 3 Islands Departure of the cruise to the islands Hydra, Poros and Aegina, the Islands of Syranic Gulf. Return to Piraeus, disembarkation and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Athens. Departure Packing and check out. Take the coach to the Aghios Eleftherios Mall for some shopping and lunch to find those last minute souvenirs. After lunch, transfer to the airport.

Safety is an absolute priority with ITS trips. Our experienced and trained staff are all First Aid qualified. Each staff member has a mobile telephone for emergencies and overall communication. Greece has an extensive health care system. A complete risk assessment is provided for each trip. Vaccinations - it is recommended that you consult with your GP for the most up to date advice. General rules of hygiene must be followed. It is recommended that all students are healthy before travelling and bring with them any medication required. A good level of physical fitness is required for all participants. Money: The Euro is the accepted currency of Greece. We recommend you exchange money before your departure or at the airport upon arrival. We also recommend you use an international credit card to minimise the amount of cash carried. Children should not carry a large amount of cash in any case. Tour Style: ITS Staff accompanies the group during the entire duration, organizing all the activities and visits. School staff are responsible for the pastoral care of the students and must be the people in charge of the group control and discipline at all times. Food will be mainly authentic local cuisine please inform us as soon as possible of your dietary requirements. Lunches are not included in the price Bring: Temperatures can fluctuate so warm, waterproof and comfortable clothing is recommended. Bring a camera. Comfortable walking shoes, back pack, water bottle and a hat / sunglasses and sunscreen are essentials. Extras: Students are accommodated in twin / triple /double rooms and staff in single. Please be aware that some hotels will not provide twin beds but in some cases students may have to share or have an extra mattress. Conditions: The price per student is based on the above offer and subject to a minimum 20 paying students.
