Par Herv le mardi 7 juin 2011, 13:54 - SOA - BPM - Lien permanent Jai lu lautre jour que les EAI offraient plus de valeurs mtier que les ESB. Outre que ce nest certainement pas faux puisque je ne pense pas quun ESB isol apporte la moindre fonctionnalit mtier (except peut-tre de la traabilit ou le passage dune logique batch une logique temps rel), je suis tout de mme surpris de vouloir comparer deux briques techniques dans des domaines o elles ne sont pas matresses. ESB et SOA Pourtant, je vais tout de mme me risquer commenter cette phrase. Pour moi, les ESB, sil napporte effectivement pas de relles fonctions mtier, se mettent en place avec une dmarche de type SOA. Cest ici je pense la principale diffrence entre les EAI et les ESB. Ces derniers se focalisent sur les diffrents niveaux de services dans un systme dinformation et sur leur rutilisation. Pour ce faire, les ESB viennent avec une dmarche didentification de services et une architecture fonctionnelle urbanise globale, o chaque silo applicatif est dfini principalement pour un mtier de lentreprise. Cest ici que rsident leur ralit conomique avec finalement la capacit doffrir par exemple des applications composites. Pour ma part, je ne pense pas que les EAI viennent avec ce type de dmarche ou de proccupations. La finalit tant de pouvoir connecter deux applications entre-elles afin de pouvoir rcuprer des donnes et non de rutiliser des services. Au final, si on compare non pas les ESB et les EAI mais la dmarche globale dintroduction dun ESB et les EAI, je pense que cest cette dmarche SOA qui apporte le plus de valeur mtier.
