CASABLANCA

where social change works

at casablanca, we will transform a building into a place for making things happen, spaces for meeting, working, creating, learning and playing, with all the tools and trimmings needed to cultivate an idea, launch a venture, host a meeting and operate a business.

we envision casablanca as more than a coworking space. it is a community of people and groups working for social change. it is an incubator for sustaining and enlarging our social impact.

OUR VISION
we

harness the energy and innovation of local people working for social and environmental justice in Newcastle and the Hunter region we believe in the power and spirit of collaboration, creativity and drive we provide the space, relationships, inspiration and knowledge to direct these to lasting and sustainable impact across generations we serve as a regional innovation cluster that catalyses and animates local capacities, skills and spark in pursuit of a better world

COMMUNITY DESIGN SURVEY

in June 2013, the founding community of Casablanca was invited to contribute to a design survey to clarify our vision and values. the outcomes from the survey are being used to set the future direction of Casablanca.
