Assignments would involve analysis of information system based applications so as to optimize the business organization working process. Most of the session would start with the lecture, which in turn would lead to problem solving. PRE-REQUISITE (S) FOR THE COURSE: The Learner should have complete basic knowledge of computer,its application, networks and databases. Since the students have taken these basic courses in earlier semesters, it is assumed that they must have gone through the above mentioned topics / subjects. COURSE OBJECTIVE: To expose students to latest information system applications used

Course would help students in

understanding functional, tactical and strategic role of Information System. understanding drivers of Information System developing capabilities for analytical analysis of Information System. Develop an understanding of IS, IT, Types of IS and their applications Develop capability to identify core issues of CRM , ERP , SCM and business intelligence. Develop an understanding of organization & technology related issues involved in databases, database warehouse and database mining.
