Designed and coordinated an exhibit that illustrated compliance in 280 paragraphs of The AMHI Consent Decree. Maine State Coordinator for a nationwide initiative to reduce or eliminate the use of seclusion and restraint in State Mental Health Hospitals. Reduced the use of seclusion and restraint by 12%. Organized and provided oversight for revisions to the hospital policy manual in preparation for a move into a new hospital building. All policies had to be revised to reflect processes for systems that did not exist in the current hospital. Wrote policies and applied for Federalwide Assurance while developing a joint research program in conjunction with Dartmouth University Medical School.
