The course helps students to acquire skills in writing paragraphs and essays. Students will be exposed to various types of essays such as narrative essays, process essays, cause and effect essays and others. Students will also be taught the organization of good paragraphs and essays, specifically, the topic sentence, thesis statement and supporting details.
