My Experience within the field of corrosion control begun as a surface preparator and coating applicator prior to entering Supervision and Inspection, I am currently approved by the Institute of Corrosion as a Level 3 Senior Painting Inspector as well as a Level 2 Insulation Inspector I am also NACE CIP Level 3 Certified (Peer Review) in Coating Inspection. I am also approved as an Instructor of the NACE CIP Programme in the UK. The above has given me hands on experience which along with my technical inspection skills enables me to achieve a high quality end result for the client. I am well travelled having worked on marine, naval, pipeline and civil engineering projects throughout the world. My previous employers note me as being trustworthy loyal and diligent. Working within the corrosion control industry has given me vast familiarity with many varied types of surface preparation treatments and applications of sophisticated coatings and linings. AGIP KCO Kazakhstan Senior Coating & Insulation Inspector Client Employed as Senior Coating and Insulation Inspector by AGIP KCO for the Kashagan project Offshore on D-Island in Kazakhstan. Main duties include trouble shooting, problem solving and consultancy as well as monitoring of all contractors painting and insulation activities for the construction and hook up projects. I also undertake training of local workforce in corrosion control and surface preparation and application techniques.

Also carried out Coating Condition surveys and research and development with marine coatings Occidental Petroleum Doha , Qatar Senior Coating & Insulation Inspector Employed as Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspector for Occidental Petroleum in Qatar in the middle east, my duties included the inspection of all Blasting, Painting and Insulation activities both Hot and Cold conservation for the refurbishment of live well head jackets offshore from Occidentals PS1 facility. My main responsibilities include testing, gauging, monitoring and reporting of the contractors performance in accordance with specification and contractual requirements. My main duties included material selection, specification review and Prequalification Testing PQTs onshore before carrying out visual inspection and monitoring of the Field Joint Coating 3 layer Polyethylene System to confirm that the Inspection Test Plans where being complied with offshore. Pipeline Coating Inspector Vessel Saipem 7000 2006 Ormen Lange Project Norway employed by DNV as Clients Representative to oversee the deepwater J lay of Field Joint Coating, Fusion Bonded Epoxy and Polypropylene Injection Moulding onboard the Saipem 7000, my main duties included Inspection, testing and monitoring of surface preparation and application of subsequent coating systems.
