A tack welder shall be qualified by one test plate in each position in which the tack welding is to be performed. 4.19.2.2 Tack Welders. Terms and Definitions


Welding operator. One who operates adaptive control, automatic, mechanized, or robotic welding equipment. Welder. One who performs a manual or semiautomatic welding operation.
