Product Overview
R1P-SW24L2B is CORECESS next generation broadband access platform in a compact form factor for Remote Office or MDU deployments. Todays new service demands more than existing L2 functionalities. The Enterprise network needs to be safer, provide more advanced services and simplify network infrastructure for economic and efficient investments based on Ethernet high speed internet. Some of the new functionalities are Service Level Agreement(SLA), blocking between subscribers, bandwidth guarantee for sensitive service about delay, efficient multicast control for IPTV service.

R1P-SW24L2B is always configured based on improved Layer 2 engine. The optimized and standardized functions of R1PSW24L2B such as QoS, multicasting, VLAN, bandwidth limitation, management, simple S/W upgrade and subscribers & network management support provide more efficient solution for broadband access to enterprise work group and small business subscriber. Compact form factor, full front access and variable uplink type support make R1P-SW24L2B the most appropriate solution to access broadband for Enterprise and subscribers.

To provide Triple Play Service (TPS), R1P-SW24L2B supports excellent IP technology: 802.1q tagged VLAN, 802.1w RSTP, 802.1p CoS, 802.3ad Link Aggregation, 802.3x flow control, Ingress/egress port mirroring. It also supports powerful QoS functions such as MFC, CoS, DSCP, ToS marking/remarking, Policing/ Shaping/ Rate control, Scheduling. Moreover, it provides network protection technology: MAC filtering, IGMP/DHCP/ARP Snoop filtering, DHCP filtering, NetBEUI/NetBIOS/NBT filtering, ACL and Multicast function. R1P-SW24L2B is composed of 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and can be applied optionally one of Fast/Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit EPON and Gigabit WDM-PON for uplink, selectable in case by case. It can be adopted to variable network configurations for service providers. The pluggable module makes R1P-SW24L2B easily to adapt, and the Gigabit interface offers more scalable connecting in cascade formation.
