Day 1 Morning:

Arrival in MONTREAL Meet your ITS Tour Leader at Montreal Trudeau Airport, private bus transfer and check-in in your hotel in Montral. Activities today will depend on your arrival time. Evenbing: Quick snack or dinner before bedtime.

Day 2 Morning: Afternoon:

MONTREAL: Museum of Fine Arts & Biosphere Montral Museum of Fine Arts: founded in 1860, this major museum is amongst the most prominent in Canada. The Montreal Biosphere allows visitors to learn from its interactive and educational exhibitions which are aimed at increasing understanding of major environmental issues such as air, water, biodiversity, climate change, sustainable development and more. Dinner in town. MONTREAL: McGill University & Mount Royal Park Morning: Afternoon: Guided visit (2 hours) of the McGill University, Canadas most international university. We will reach the Mount Royal Park: inaugurated in 1876, this splendid open space is the perfect place for admiring a wide variety of plants and birds or for enjoying outdoor activities. Dinner. MONTREAL: French School Exchange & Maple Syrup Museum Exchange with the French speaking school: learn about the cultural and language aspects of how a French system works in a primarily English country. Maple Syrup Museum: learn about the fascinating and educating history of traditional maple products in this museum founded in 2007. A tasting session awaits us afterwards. Then, we will spend some time in Le Vieux Montral (Old city) for some souvenir shopping. Dinner in town. Transfer to QUEBEC, Montmorency Falls Park & Walking guided tour Morning: Check out and transfer to the Montmorency Falls Park by private bus (270 km, about 3 hrs). Admire the 83 m high falls (higher than the Niagara Falls!) and learn about the history of the province through a 1h30 guided visit. Drop-off of our luggage at our hotel in Qubec. Fortifications of Qubec: 1h30 guided visit of the only fortified city in North America with close to 4.6 km of walls and imposing gates. Dinner. Les Fantmes du Qubec: you will be led on a 90-minute walking tour through the streets of Old Quebec, to hear 400 years of stories of murder, mysterious ghost sightings and tragedies.

Day 6 Morning:

QUEBEC: Wendake Tour & Civilization Museum A trip to Qubec is never completed until youve experienced the Wendake tour: this ancestral site is a window onto aboriginal culture! The visit will last 1h45 and will include the museum, the socalled Maison Tsawenhohi, the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church and the Kabir Kouba Fall. Civilisation Museum: learn about the history of Qubec through a guided visit of this museum. Dinner in town. QUEBEC: Old Town & Shopping Morning: Enjoy the European charm by visiting the Old Town (classified UNESCO World Heritage), including a stop for a picture in front of the magnificent Chteau de Frontenac. Walk along the Dufferin Terrace overlooking the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding area. Muse du Fort: in the Old Qubec, a sound and light show recounts the military history of Qubec. In just 30 minutes, by way of a giant model, you'll understand the strategic challenges that made Qubec City such a highly coveted city. Free time in the area to enjoy a lastminute shopping in Canada. Dinner in town. Departure from QUEBEC

Safety is an absolute priority with ITS trips. Our experienced and trained staff are First Aid qualified. Each staff member has a mobile telephone for emergencies and overall communication. Canada has an extensive health care system. A complete risk assessment is provided for each trip. Health and Vaccinations: it is recommended that you consult with your GP for the most up to date advice. General rules of hygiene must be followed. It is recommended that all students are healthy before travelling and bring with them any medication required. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required for all participants.

Visas: Please contact your local consulate for visa information and requirements. Money: The Canadian Dollar is the accepted currency in Canada. We recommend that you exchange money before your departure or at the airport upon arrival. We also recommend you to minimise the amount of cash carried by children in any case. Tour Style: ITS Staff accompanies the group during the entire duration, organizing all the activities and visits. School staff are responsible for the pastoral care of the students and must be the people in charge of the group control and discipline at all times. Food will be mainly authentic local cuisine please inform us as soon as possible of your dietary requirements. Lunches are not included in the price. Transportation by metro or trains to experience the real citizen life, except when carrying the baggage or when notified. Equipment: Temperatures can fluctuate so waterproof and comfortable clothing according to the season is recommended. Walking shoes, a hat and sunglasses, a back pack, a water bottle and sunscreen (high factor sunblock) are essentials. Dont forget to bring your camera and battery charger! A medical kit will be carried along with the group by the ITS tour leader; but extra items other than the First Aid Kit will be the responsibility of the participant or the school staff leader. Lodging: Students are accommodated in twin / triple rooms and staff are in singles. Please be aware that some hotels may not provide twin beds but in some cases students may have to share a bed or lie on an extra mattress. Conditions: The price per student is based on the above offer and guaranteed for a minimum 30 paying students.
