Above, hip-hop artist J. Cole rocks the BU Event Center on Sept 26. Congratulations to the Student Association for a successful fall concert, as J. Cole sold out the Events Center, proving once again that hip-hop concerts are top-billing at Binghamton. The fall concert was the largest since Drake s concert 4 years earlier. More than 4500 tickets were sold to students and the general public.

Would you like to help another student improve his or her skills in English while learning about another culture yourself? Would you like to volunteer to help fellow students on campus? English Conversation Pairs is the perfect opportunity to do so! In this program sponsored by the ESL Program and the International Student and Scholar Services offices, non-native speakers of English are paired with native English speaking students, and the two spend an hour or so a week together in conversation. The purpose is to promote improved English language skills as well as cross-cultural exchanges of information and friendship. Native English speakers who are interested in volunteering one hour of their time a week can contact Shannon Hilliker at : hilliker@binghamton.edu.
