SEMESTER: SEPTEMBER 2013 / JANUARY 2014 DATE: 28 SEPTEMBER 2013

OBJECTIVES GENERAL Learn how both contact configurations as a button SPECIFIC Automate the driving of a motor or a lamp using a set of contacts. Knowing the benefits of using a contact time of employment in a given project to be automated. MATERIALS Contact Trigger (NO, NC) Cables with banana A coil A lamp PROCEDURE First test (on a button-operated lamp NA) 1. connect the cable from either end of the stage to a pushbutton 2. Push the other end connect it to the coil, and right there we took a cable to the lamp. 3. And finally make the ends remaining bridge between both load as coil and send it to the ground in this case is neutral. Second test (Lamp start pressing a button NC) This test is performed for the same procedure as above. Third Test (Lamp start Interlocking) 1. Connect the power line phase switch to one end of NC 2. On the other end you connect to push button NC NA and the same will connect to the NO contact 3. Last two make them mentioned bridges remaining ends and likewise do bridge between the light and the coil and connected to the two bridges. 4. April. Finally connect the remaining ends of the lamp as many coil grounded. OPERATION First test (on a button-operated lamp NA)

This test was performed according to the connection diagram, where a NO button is used the same as when going down allowing passage of current to the load (lamp).

Second test (Lamp start pressing a button NC)

This test was performed according to the proper connection diagram which makes use of the same NC button which when pressed will allow us not the passage of current to the load.

Third Test (Lamp start Interlocking) Proper connection was made where a NO button when being driven allows the current to flow and this causes it to activate the NO contact remains closed until further signal thus allowing current to flow to my burden, and this signal off grants me the same as NC contact when actuated stops the flow of current so that the contact returns to its original state (NA). CONCLUSIONS A contact behaves as a logic circuit as it is activated depending on the receiving signal or pulse and if it was open is closed and vice versa and this enables us to automate industrial processes without requiring the operator acted . It is very important to know the contact configuration facility to be armed with this type of device. With this type of circuit can perform engine starting and vice versa depending on the load that feed fence should take stock in the three-phase lines ie the control circuits to alter the phases. RECOMMENDATIONS Check well the diagram to make the connections in control panels since a bad connection can cause equipment damage. Sizing the breaker relay because sometimes pulls the load current is very large and tends to heat the conductors. Report while each of the wires because they are usually long distances and that cannot be tested for continuity.
