Introduction
From the start of time people in business are always keen about the time, accuracy and safety. And for these concerns they have been developing different techniques. When ever the business is rapid, accurate and safe (both to businessmen and customers), it is considered to be trust worthy. Computer was developed for the basic computation. Businesses always need computation capabilities to perform their task better and compete in the environment. In todays times, there are many types of businesses with diverse computation needs. Information technology is one such area. Use of technology can play a vital role in success of a nation. From educating a child to defense of country its use is there. Distance learning, cruise missiles, learning robots, DNA sampling, space exploration are examples of technology in use. With use of computers physical boundaries are the stories of the past. Worldwide connectivity, latest news and electronic libraries are few of many facilities at finger tips of the user. Computerization of Medical Stores helps the management in many areas. Information management of different departments can be done through software. Different activities like Customer Information, Billing System can be managed efficiently. Time and cost can be reduced and efficiency can be increased. Staff productivity also increases with softwares use. PROJECT STRUCTURE This database is for a hospital through which we can computerized the manual system of a hospital. Components of this project are Staff Personal detail Staff Qualification Detail, Staff Shift Detail, Ward Detail, Staff Shift Report. These components will interact with each other in such a way that information

DataBase
A Database is collection of information stored in an organized way. A database can consist of one or more files. A database file is made up of records. A database record is a unit of information about something. Within a record, information is organized into distinct fields. A field is a separate area designed to store a certain of information. A database management system (DBMS) is software that helps us organize data in a way that allows fast and easy access to the data. In essence, the program acts as an efficient and elaborate file system. Within a database program data can be entered, modified, stored and retrieved in a variety of ways. ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DATABASE:The ideal database provides rapid access to the data we need .A good database system also preserves data integrity, avoids data redundancy, ensures data security, and provides procedures for data maintenance. DATA INTEGRITY:The term data integrity refers to the validity of the data contained in a database. Data integrity can be reduced in many ways, including input typing errors, database programs should use data validation procedures, which define acceptable input ranges for each filed in the record. If the user tries to input data that is out of this range, an error message is displayed.

Database Concept
There are many DBMS programs in the market today. Covering all the programs, features and function of each package would be impossible, so database management system is discussed in generic. Using Database Software: Computerized database systems are a world apart from precomputer database techniques. Human effort is no longer required to short and organize records, to comb through thousands or even millions of records to find and display information. All these tasks are accomplished with the computers impressive capabilities to examine and organize huge amount of digitized at fast speeds. Creating and using database: There are two steps for creating a database file. 1. Designing the structure of the file. 2. Entering the data into the file. File Structure: Creating a database is often referred to as creating the data base structure defining exactly what you want each field in a database record to look like. To create a structure, the following items must be defined. File name:- You must give a unique name of each field of data you want to store. To manipulate the database, you will often be required to refer to one or more elements of data by their field names. Field type:-Database requires you to define what type of information will be stored in the field i.e. the field type. With most DBMS programs, data can be one of these type (a) Character Data that is nonnumeric, such as name and address information; (b) Numeric Data that includes numbers; (c)Data Data that must be entered in specific date format so that calculations can be performed on it, (d) Logical

Data that indicates whether a field is true or false. Field width:-you must determine what the maximum size of the field will be i.e. its field width. Entering the Data:Once structure of database is defined, the data can be added to it. However, first you must tell the DBMS programs make this requirement because more than one database file may be stored on the same disk. The procedure for adding new records to a database file is different in different databases.

SYSTEM DESIGNING
The system purpose of this system is to design a new computerizing system, is to remove the drawbacks in the present manual system and to fulfill the needs and requirements of the organization. This design shows, in detail, how staff data can be stored and retrieved in the proposed system. System design means to design. Out put design Input design File design
Out put design:-

By output design, we mean the design produced by the system and the form in which it is to be produced i.e. Whether printed, displayed or spoken. Output is an important factor as the systems success and failure largely depends upon this output design. It is through these outputs that the system becomes useful to the user. Presently computer can produce one type of output.
Input design:-

The mechanism to input information in to computer is known as input design. We have to take care of two things while designing inputs of the proposed system in order to avoid all possible faults in data entry. To allowed only valid data in to the computer. The user should feel easy while entering the data into the system.
File design:-

Keeping in mind the logical designing process as well as all the inputs and outputs of the propose system, the files are designed. In this step, it is to be decided that how data is stored on the backing storage devices.

User Manual
End user is computer who has a very little knowledge of computer. That is why it is difficult for him to work directly on the new computerized system. Therefore, they need a comprehensive guide to operate the new system. Here we present a brief guideline, which will provide a great help to the end user while operating the new system. hospital staff information system software that we built is a menu driven and can be handled easily. User can learn how to run the system very easily and rapidly. Working of the system is described understandable manner. For the user simplicity, the icon of the software is placed on the desktop with name of Hospital System1 the user has only double click on the icon then the splash appear as:
