Relevant Experience

- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of aircraft systems.


- Work with Chief Engineers designing and ensuring safety of flight modifications affecting aircraft
in the Customs fleet and closely work with engineers to ensure efficient integration of new systems
with existing aircraft systems.
- Fly as a member of the flight crew to support missions to deployments and ensure feasibility of
systems.
- Perform modifications to aircraft installing new or upgrading systems.
- Test all avionics systems periodically as required as preventative maintenance.
- Also trained in repairing aircraft infrared equipment, daylight camera and microwave down link
systems.
- Proficient and often worked as an aircraft mechanic.
- Assist and write supplemental type certifications, ground test and flight test procedures.
- Basics design of cabin management systems, build up of complex aircraft wire harnesses.
- As member of an inspection team, performed inspections to ensure product quality on all incoming
aircraft.
- Train flight crews and customers on new aircraft systems.
- Responsible to train new technicians and electrical installers.
- Responsible to ensure each aircraft is safe for flight operations.
