Welcoming speech from Chairperson 1.1 The meeting started with Al-Fatihah. 1.2 The Chairperson thanked everyone for coming to the meeting. 1.3 The Chairperson explains on the important agenda today which is UBB2 postmortem. Action by: Puan Qhairin 2. Speech by The Headmaster 2.1 En. Mohd Haslam thanked the teachers for coming to the meeting and congrates the English panels for the success of organizing the meeting. 2.2 He said that there was a decrease in the result of UBB3. He worried about this matter. 2.3 He stressed on Year 6 result which was decrease without any reason. He wanted the English teachers to clarify the problem. Action by: All English teachers 3. Presentation and verification of previous meeting 3.1 En. Shuhaimi as a secretary reads the information on the previous minit to be verified by others. 3.2 Tn. Hj. M Rozee suggested that the previous meetings minit should be verified. The suggestion was agreed by Pn. Qhairin. Action by: All English teachers

Issues which need to be discussed 4.1 There was no issue to be discussed.

UBB3 postmortem 5.1 Year 1 Pupils spend most of their time at home. Pupils tend to forget their lesson. So, parents can help by recalling and supervising them in doing their homework. Parents should sit together with pupils while they are doing their homework. 5.2 Year 2 Authentic activities attract pupils in learning and memorizing the input. In this age, fun activities should be one of the crucial agenda in learning. Pupils will be taken outside their classroom or doing practical activities once a week so that they realize about the fun part of English. 5.3 Year 3 The pupils seem very slow in their progress. The teacher has to repeat the same input 4 to 5 times. It will be a waste in time and energy. The teacher still searching for the best method to attract pupils and make them remember the input given. 5.4 Year 4 Pupils have difficulties in remembering the input given. More principles need to be taught because they are still in transition time. 5.5 Year 5 The teacher needs to focus on grammar because the pupils have difficulties in writing skills. The sentences wrote were full of grammatical errors. 5.6 Year 6 The focus is still on UPSR paper 2. The teacher will conduct more tuition in order to familiarize pupils with the format. Lots of pre-UPSR paper will be given to the pupils. Action by: All English Teachers

Others 6.1 The chairperson hopes that all the problems can be managed wisely and all the teachers will give their full cooperation and support in implementing the fun English learning. Action by: All English teachers

Adjourn speech 7.1 Pn. Qhairin thanked everyone for their presence in the meeting. She hoped that the English teachers will take actions on the problems arouse. 7.1 The meeting ends with the recitation of Surah Al-Asr. Meeting adjourned at 2.00 pm.
