History
IBA was founded on April 2, 1993 as a threeway partnership between IBM Corp. and the two leading Belarusian IT enterprises: the Computer Research Institute (NIIEVM) and the Minsk Computer Production Association (MPOVT).In 1999, IBM withdrew as a part owner of IBA,

however, remains a strategic business partner. The small company eventually evolved into an international group.
