Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active. This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals ..not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain... For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. There are many benefits of having a good sex life. Read on... Add the juice of half a lemon and a handful of any herbs (basil or mint). Tie back your hair and drape a towel over your head and the bowl to form a tent, to trap the steam. Here I am talking about the natural henna powder. It is the original powder of the green leaf of Henna plant(not henna dye, which is used to color hair as an ussual dye). It is natural. So it is safe. Henna gives varrious results with different combinations of henna mixing.Henna is natures safest means to color and condition hair and is strongly recommended for those who want to free themselves from harmful chemical dyes and bleaches. Henna on hair enhances and highlights the natural colour of the hair whilst softening and giving extra volume and shine. Henna is scientifically known for its ability to make hair thicker. It is a completely natural and highly effective treatment. Henna contains a tannin known as hennotannic acid. Tannins are slightly astringent and their use will tighten the surface of the scalp and hair follicles, strengthening the follicles' grasp on each hair. Henna also penetrates the hair shaft, strengthening and thickening the hairs somewhat, making the hair more resistant to breakage It acts as a cooling agent for head and body. Henna contains those natural ingredients which are vital for hair nourishment. What happen when apply henna on hair? If your hair is blonde, henna may make it vibrant red or strawberry blonde. If your hair is red, henna will restore vibrant red color and glossiness that you lose to age and sun damage. If your hair is mousy brown, henna may make it rich red or copper penny red. If your hair is medium brown, your hair may come up the color of an Irish Setter dog. If your hair is dark brown, it will be deep chestnut with red highlights in the sunshine. If your hair is black, it will be very dark chestnut with red highlights. If your hair has gone all gray, henna may make it orange. If your hair is brown streaked with grey, it may be rich auburn with red threads. How henna is used on hair? Dry hair - Add some milk, water and 1-2egg yolks in henna. This mixture will not dry your hair and will make it soft and manageable. Apply it monthly. Normal to Oily Hair Add water, lemon, egg yolks in henna. You can apply Henna fortnightly. If you can put oil in your hair before applying henna is fine.

How to prepare Henna Paste. Mix henna powder with water to get a thick paste. It should not be loose or too thick. Apply it into the scalp and hair using a brush. Apply oil to the scalp and hair before henna, is also good. You can enhance the results of henna on hair by simple tricks. If the smell of henna is not exactly to your liking, add teaspoon (about 1 g) allspice, cinnamon, or nutmeg to the paste. Add 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vinegar or fresh lemon juice for golden or copper highlights. This treatment also is beneficial for oily hair. An egg yolk or a whole egg will help condition and add shine to the hair. Use the yolk for dry hair, and the whole egg for oily hair. Cloves deepen and enhance the color of henna. Grind tablespoon (3 g) dry whole cloves to powder and add to the henna paste. Add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) cognac and 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil to effect a redder henna colour. To set the henna color, steep a full-bodied tea for 20 to 30 minutes. Substitute the tea liquid for the required water in the paste. Black China or Ceylon tea adds golden highlights to brown hair. To tone down the reds and deepen the browns, use brewed-not instant-coffee as substitute for the water in the paste. Brew at least 1 cup (260 ml), bring to a boil, and then let the coffee sit as long as possible (overnight is preferable) before adding to the henna mixture. The addition of 2 to 4 tablespoons (30-60 ml) of olive oil conditions and moisturizes hair. This is particularly good for dry, brittle hair. Henna soaked in water of used tea bags, coffee powder, amla powder and onion peels and apply on hair can make for an excellent conditioner giving your hair the much needed boost.

medium or dark depends primarily on melanin, the colouring matter that is deposited in the layer germinativum and the layer of dermis. The colour of pigments varies from one person to the other. Melanin protects sensitive cells from sun burns and ultraviolet rays. A sun protection factor (spf) should be used to help melanin in its job of protecting the skin. Look for sunscreen-cummoisturisers which contain zinc oxide. They provide excellent protection against the harmful rays of the sun.
