This month is brought to you by the planet Venus! Not only is she the New Moons dispositor (1203) she is also this months chart ruler. Referred by me as lady luck; charming, affectionate, yearning for attention, she lets you know what you like and helps you define what you are willing to do to get it (i.e. your values). Sounds benign enough right? Well, as astrologer Deanna Rose once put it Venus always appears to be doing nothing, but has the force of an atomic magnet Work with others continues on our radar! Sorry, but duty will persist. Venus is heavily involved with Mars, so expect to be aroused by the opposite sex. We will express our feelings openly, but wounded deeply if the other just doesn't get it. We expect a great deal from our relationships, with appreciation being one of them. Family quarrels may ensue as a result. Diet/health is also highlighted. Create a new habit using MercuryPlutos helpful energy on October 6th. Venus goes into Sagittarius on the Oct 7th. Yeah! This will bring refreshing optimism to the foreground over the next four weeks. A fun time to explore. Although we may have to wait for Mercury to pass Saturn on Tues 7th as Debbi Downer makes an appearance and brings sobering thoughts to mind. Sat-Mon the 14th has you conniving, while Tues 15th Mars enters Virgo and figures out how to pay/do them.

New Moon and Full Moon charts influence each month
From the New Moon to the Full Moon, the moon is increasing in light (waxing). This is traditionally the time for beginnings or instinctual growth. I find the new moon flavors the entire month. The waning moon, from the Full Moon to the next New Moon, brings a conscious time for creative release as the moon dissipates, it brings clarification to the new moon activities. This enable us to recognize where we are and where we need to go. I hope you enjoy and benefit from my personal interpretations on current planetary configurations each lunar month!

ARIES Full Moon October 18, 2013 (7:38 pm)

The Full Blood Moon starts the weekend off with a Lunar Eclipse. Eclipses can spark moments in our life that lead us down new paths, especially if you have anything aspecting 25Aries 51 in your chart. Guard against awkward tensions 19th/20th, as our buried past tend to haunt us as it arises like a zombie once again (well it is Halloween!) Mercury turns retrograde Monday morning on Oct21st. Maintain and try not to sign papers or begin new projects over the next three weeks. Re-doing things, mix ups, and mechanical breakdowns are all possible. The sun moves into Scorpio on the 23rd, as the atmosphere intensifies for the upcoming Hallowmas celebrations and we look to the darker side of life. A very special day for meditations and spiritual work occurs Fri Oct 25th. Debbi Downer arrives yet again Oct 29th but all experiences have value, so try to keep a positive attitude and look for the silver lining. Devils Night reforms our objectives, expect prophetic dreams, if you can sleep. The moon enters Libra 31st just in time for Halloween and the next few days followingincreasing our sweet tooth, our desire for socializing and cooperating with others; waitisnt that where we started this month??
