Clients: 1.1 Classification of Patients: 1.1.1 Company Patients Patients who are under Insurance Companies. e.g. MedGulf, SAICO, ARAMCO, etc. Cash Patients Patients who are not under any insurance company or undergoing procedures that are not covered / approved by their insurance companies MOH Patients Patients under the care of the Ministry of Health.

Types of Patients 1.2.1. Ambulatory seen from the Out-Patient Department or Accident and Emergency Department and admitted on or the day of surgery. 1.2.2. In-Patients admitted in the ward on or before the day of surgery 1.2.3. Day Cases admitted during the day of the surgery and will be discharged several hours post-operatively on the same day 1.2.4. Emergency and Urgent Cases patients come from the Accident and Emergency Department and may be directly brought to OR for surgery or admitted first in the ward and procedure done in few hours later. 1.2.5. Special Cases elective cases but scheduled after the OPD time or during Fridays. e.g. Cardiac and Plastic surgery cases. 1
