Work Principle of 1+0 Energy System

About 6hrs

Battery is fully charged

D.G Starts to powers the BTS and charges the Battery

D.G. stops and Battery discharges to power the BTS

Battery discharges to a setting residual capacity(40%)

Depended on the consumption of the site and batterys age.

Remark: For some 1+0 sites which have EDC, the site will use the EDC first, if the EDC is off, the DG and battery will cycle like the sites which have no EDC, anytime the EDC is available, the system will switch to EDC to supply for the site.

IPS Start Up Instruction

When the power supply is coming the RUN led is blinked, if the power reached the terminals but the RUN light not ON: 1. 2. Check Switch (1) to Auto or not if not switch it to Auto Check the fuses (2) whether they are loose or not properly connected (take it out and check then put it in again and check the RUN light if the light is OK wait about 10s the transfer switch will ON then the light on the front door is ON).

Set to 0000 if site (1+0) means DG+Battery

IPS SET(3)
1Set the power switch of the BMU to OFF, disconnect the EDC inputif EDC is available, set the diesel generator to the automatic mode, then the diesel generator will start automatically. 2Set the power switch of the BMU to ON, set the diesel generator to the Test Mode, select ATS Control, press the ENT button of control panel, select Close and press ENT button to stop the diesel generator. 3Exit the Test Mode and the diesel generator will start to supply power 3 automatically. 4Connect the EDC input if EDC is available, the IPS will start the EDC to supply power and the diesel generator will stop work a moment later automatically. 5After the test, close the door of each cabinet and give the key to the person in charge for proper management.
