Dear Vendor,

Thank you for your interest in vending at Reggae Summer


Fest at City Center DC in Washington DC. This year we are
excited to host Annual Reggae Summer Fest featuring Beenie
Man, Capleton, Marcia Griffiths, Cocoa Tea, I-Wayne,
The I-Tals, Jovi Rockwell, Mahmoud Ahmed, Fire Star and
many more on Sunday August 30th, 2009.

Enclosed are the Vendor Application, Hold Harmless and


Indemnity Clause forms. Please return your forms as
quickly as possible so we may process your application and
assign you a space. Space is assigned on a first come
first serve basis.

The final deadline for all vendors for the Reggae Summer
Fest is July 31st. There will be a $50.00 late fee charged
for any application received thereafter. All applications
will be reviewed and a representative will be in touch
regarding your approval status. Once approved, you’ll
receive additional information on payment instructions.
Applications for vending opportunities is accepted by
email: vendors@reggaesummerfest.net or by Fax: 202-403-
3443. Again, Reggae Summer Fest Space is assigned on a
first come first serve basis.

We are grateful for your participation and look forward to


sharing this cultural Sunday that’s fun filled yet
profitable. Flyers for Reggae Summer Fest at City Center DC
are available per your request.

VENDOR COMPLIANCE
NO BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD BY ANY VENDORS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
This includes any, water, juices, sodas, alcohol etc…

Space will be assigned upon receipt of your completed registration with full payment.
PAYMENTS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CHECK ONLY! No
personal or business checks accepted.

You will be allowed one 10 X 10 foot space. This will be strictly enforced. Please make us
aware of any special preferences i.e. requiring 2 side by side booth spaces, when submitting
your registration. We reserve the right to limit like items. Please be specific with your
itemized list.

Check In time is between 7:00 a.m. and 10 a.m. No vehicles allowed on the grounds after
11a.m. Parking for support vehicles will be located in the parking lot Late arrivals forfeit their
fee and their space NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited by law and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent
of the law. If Alcoholic beverages are found in your possession you will be escorted off the
grounds.

All vendors must be self-contained. This includes tables, chairs etc. You shall remove all trash
including but not limited to boxes, pallets, cinder blocks, etc. Leave the area as you found it.
You will be charged for any damage, which is found in your allotted space. You shall not
drive stakes or supports into any areas of the pavement or grass.

2. No weapons allowed!
3. Water will be provided
4. No alcoholic beverages
5. No plastic bottles
6. No sodas, bottled water or juices
7. Each vendor will receive 5 comp tickets
8. Each vendor is asked to bring a trash bin to keep area clean, during and after the
event.
9. Each Vendor should bring a fire extinguisher and their own generator or source of
power...and they also asked the vendors to bring their own tables and chairs.
10. Vendor must provide their own 10 x10 tent for food vendor and 8 x 10 for all other
vendors.
Any expense incurred due to vendor negligence will be charged an additional fee. We will do
a space inspection before each vendor leave venue after event.

We reserve the right to limit like items. Please be specific with your itemized list.

Full compliance is required of all vendors. By signing the registration you accept and agree to
comply with all rules and regulations. Non-compliance of any of these rules will result in
expulsion from the grounds. No refunds, no excuses, no exceptions.

hold harmless and defend NATIOANAL ALLIANCE FOUNDATION, ILAND
PROMOTIONS and CITY CENTER DC and their sponsors, agents and employees from
all liability , judgments, suits, costs, and actions, including attorneys’ fees and all
costs of litigation of every kind and description brought or rendered against Iland
Promotion productions or City Center DC as a result of loss , or damage, or injury to
persons (including death) or property by reason of any act or failure to act by
