He is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering and MS in Consultancy Management and Member of Institution of Engineers and Fellow Member of IETE. He has experience in Renewable Energy specifically in wind & solar projects financing for 20 years. Currently he is Deputy General Manager and heading Solar & IT Divisions of IREDA. His additional responsibilities are Management Representative for ISO 9001 and Transparency Officer under RTI. Prior to joining IREDA, he was working in Quality Control and Environment Engineering with STQC, Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India. GauravSood Gaurav Sood, is the Managing Director of Solairedirect India. He was the first employee in India and has been instrumental in establishing Solairedirect amongst the leading Solar Photovoltaic IPPs and EPC companies in India. He is MB A in Finance & Marketing and M. Tech. in Renewable energy and brings the rare mix of technical and business acumen to the table. NarsiSanthanam Narasimhan co-founded Energy Alternatives India in 2008 and has led it to become the leading research and consulting organization for Indian renewable energy. He also co-founded Oilgae in 2006. Oilgae is today the global leader for industry research and business intelligence for the algae biofuels industry, and its research and reports have been used by Fortune 500 companies and global research organizations. He has extensive experience in understanding renewable energy markets and strategic levers for success in these markets. HimansuPopuri: Himamsu Popuri is the CEO of Nuevosol Energy Pvt. Ltd. Nuevosol Energy designs, sup plies and installs module mounting structures for solar PV power plants. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras and has also completed his Master of Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing from IIT Madras. His other major interests include Optimization, Operations Research, Financial Management and Marketing.

Dr.OSSastry: OS Sastry is currently working as senior scientist at Solar Energy Centre under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, government of India. He is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in physics from IIT, New Delhi. He has executed a number of prestigious international projects which includes an Indo-US, Indo-Japan and Indo-UK projects and responsible for establishment of comprehensive test facilities and test beds for long term performance study of PV modules. He also is an accomplished technical expert for technical auditing testing laboratories for PV modules and systems. SanjayChandra: Sanjay Chandra is the Managing Director of Citel India, a subsidiary of Citel France in India. Citel is a multinational with presence in over 50 countries worldwide. Alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and ESSEC Business School, France Mr Chandra has 25 years+ exposure with industry in India and lately in the solar PV industry. VamanKuber: Vaman Kuber is currently working with National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE) at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in development of training programs, industry outreach and PV project studies. He also advises PV power developers and systems integrators in development of large size PV power plants, both rooftop and utility scale. Over the last 4 years, he has developed innovative solar systems solutions, consulting in solar power systems design, integration, testing and monitoring for off-grid, grid-support and on-grid applications in India. He has managed solar cell process, test and characterization equipment design and implementation projects in PV research laboratories at ANU and UNSW, Australia for 8 years. Kaushik is currently Director of Engineering and Technology at Applied Materials Energy and Environmental Solutions (EES) group. He has been working with Applied Materials for 13+ years and has total ~20 year work experience. He is working on developing equipment, technology to enable low cost and reliable renewable energy products based on crystalline Silicon solar cell. Kaushik has B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Ph.D. in Materials from University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition to Applied Materials, Kaushik has worked at General Electric (GE) India Technology Center, Bloom Energy, and has done 2 year post doc at University of Minnesota. RajaramPai:

Rajaram Pai is the Business Leader, DuPont Electronics & Communications and Photovoltaic (PV) Solutions, South Asia. He has extensive experience in the PV industry. Prior to joining DuPont, Mr. Pai worked at Moser Baer Solar wherein he worked in senior management positions across Sales & Marketing, Operations and Projects.

Apart from the solar sector, Mr. Pai has served over 10 years in various management roles at IBM, Delphi Corporation and Titan Industries. He is a Post Graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a Mechanical Engineer from Mangalore University. RajeshSingh:

Dr. Gangadhara Rao is presently Chief Operating Officer (COO) Manufacturing at Lanco Solar. Dr. Rao has done his Masters in Engineering from IIT-Kanpur and Doctorate from I.I.T., Bombay.
