ORACLE TUXEDO ART is a re-hosting product offering from Oracle built around Oracle Tuxedo recently
brought to the market by Oracle Corporation. Oracle is offering the Oracle ART platform as a re-hosting solution to customers who want to retire applications running on IBM mainframes with a CICS-COBOLDB2 combination. The offering comes bundled with a tool called Refine to automate migration of applications that Oracle has acquired from Metaware Technologies, France. Metalogic is in partnership with Metaware for implementation of their migration Tools and are working with Oracle to develop a relationship in application migration.

AUTOMOBILE AND SPARE PARTS PROCUREMENT PROCESS The entire procurement process is divided into two parts .Primarily we have a vehicle procurement and secondarily a spare parts sales process. Purchase will be centralized. Purchase order for spare parts will be raised from Purchase order is placed to default vendors automatically by the system. The user may manually select other alternate vendors if required the functionality in the PO with the item part no. There are provisions for selection of sales NAV rates on each SKU. All stock receipts should be against PO. Stock values should be automatically updated in the system once the PO is received. It is capable to handle partial receipt of materials against PO. Vendor Order No must be tracking at the time of goods receipt entry. There are provisions for selection of other cost, like freight, handing charges etc. To improve the accuracy of the reports and to minimize the manual effort and duplication of work, all the reporting should be based on the single database. Return process, which starts with rising of Purchase Return Orders to sending back the goods and finally raising Credit Memo vendor. Tracking down discrepancies between PO and Invoice.
