In 1988, the company acquired The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, a well respected global corporation with a venerable history of its own. This transformed Bridgestone into one of the world's largest tire and rubber companies and created a global team dedicated to serving customers worldwide with the highest level of quality, service and technology. Mostly they operate their business from Head-quarter via profit commission agent in served content area, they believe in future perspective solo ownership of outlet / shop is more effective then the corporate office operation, and result is they successful all over Asia. As a MNC, where product is tire & tube, their brand image in Asia, considering Bangladesh, Bridgestone count as leadership badge, compete with many companies such as Yokohama, Goodyear, Triangle, Maxis.
