is far removed from yesterday’s sex shop. Upon entering our stores,
customers encounter the “courtship zone” where we feature articles
of innocent romance, ranging from scented candles and novelty cards to
gift baskets and chocolates. Walk further into the store and you enter the
“warm zone” stocked with tantalizing items like scented massage oils, silky
lingerie and games for couples. Next – just as in a relationship, when your
ready to let go of your inhibitions - you proceed to the “hot zone” where
the shelves are stocked with a full range of toys and accessories. Ultimately
customers have complete control over how risqué their visit to the store
will be.

• Aren’t We Naughty’s tag line is, “The Store for Couples at Play”, it’s only fitting that we would support the motto “The
couple that plays together, stay’s together”. Educating consumers on the many ways to keep things new and exciting
is what we do best. In 2006 there are many retailers out there selling the same product. Providing our customers with
the education to support the product is what we feel is key!
• While China’s rapidly increasing economy is yielding a higher quality of life and ballooning wallets for local people, it is also
bringing about a climbing divorce rate. Companies specializing in couples counseling are sprouting up as a result. Since
2002, the divorce rate in China has been rising, according to a report released May 18 by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Last
year, about 1.8 million couples filed for divorce, 120,000 more than in the previous year. The number of couples that ap-
plied for marriage licenses shrunk from 8.7 million in 2004 to 8.2 million last year. “It does not mean people think less of
marriage, but instead, that they really long for a higher-quality marriage which is difficult to get now.”

• Aren’t We Naughty’s commitment to education also includes special guest appearances at our in-store events by some
of the most popular experts in the field. Sue Johanson is a registered nurse who travels all over Canada teaching sex
and sexuality to students and adults. The recipient of the Order of Canada, the country’s highest honor for lifetime
achievement, she hosts the popular Talk Sex with Sue Johanson and The Sunday Night Sex Show, both on the Oxygen
Network. The author of Sex Is Perfectly Natural, but Not Naturally Perfect and Talk Sex, she has appeared on The Late
Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien and was heralded as the “It” grandmother
by Entertainment Weekly. Advocates such as Sue Johanson continue to support our efforts to educate the public
on promoting healthy consensual sexuality.

Trust. Over the Past 5 years RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust has added four Aren’t We Naughty stores into
its portfolio, Windsor, Belleville, Pickering, and the Latest St. Catharine’s.
The Aren’t We Naughty Stores are very well maintained and merchandised and are a welcome addition to our
shopping Centre portfolio.
