General Information

The Christmas JOY Home Tour is a self-guided tour of 8 unique homes that are professionally decorated for the holiday season. Funds raised go to support Lakeside HOPE (Helping Overcome Poverty Everywhere) House, who provide tangible, compassionate assistance and care to those in the Guelph community.

As the JOY Home Tour continues to grow so do the programs we organize through HOPE House to impact our community. This raised bungalow has been totally renovated from top to bottom and is a pleasure to feature on the tour this year. Christmas dcor has been provided by Home Outfitters, Danielle Oke Interiors, Floral Fusion, Maria Pezzano Studio Boutique, Candy Coated and Edible Arrangements.

This wonderful bungalow is a gorgeous open concept, family-friendly home. This home has been decorated for the season by The Plumbers Wife, Canadian Tire, Smittys Furniture, Jesters Fun Factory, CK Coverings, and Zehrs Fergus. Feiges and I Love Chocolate will be supplying yummy samples.

31 Oxford Street, Guelph


This beautiful home was built in 1903 and has been renovated from top-to-bottom. The master bedroom suite may be the most exquisite we have ever featured on the tour. This home has been decorated by the talented team at Accents For Living, Settings, Colour Paradise, the Three Greek Sisters and Candies of Merritt.

7814 Stone Road East, Guelph


This gorgeous century home is set amidst 50 acres of lush farm land and now boasts 5,000 sq. ft. of beautifully renovated and restored beauty. Seasonal dcor has been provided by Royal City Nursery, RIVERS Florist, Grand Gourmet, Van Galis Inn and Caf and Square.

35 John Street, SALEM


We are excited to be featuring our first ever full log home on the tour this year. This home was built in 2000 and it took the homeowners more than a year to strip and finish the logs that were used during construction. The dcor for this home has been provided by Seasons and Cinnamon, ReFind, Little Tree Garden Market, Fancy That Cake and Fraberts in the kitchen.

Lakeside HOPE House provides tangible care to families in need in our community with Food Provision, Clothing, Edu-Kitchen, Hair Salon etc. Please stop by while on the tour. We ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate. Christmas dcor by Landsgrove Designs with food sampling and tea by Bentleys Fine Teas and Catering. HOPE Soap will also be available for purchase. This beautiful family home is a 4-level backsplit that is warm and inviting on every level. The main bathroom is sensational and has been newly renovated and is a must see in this home. Enhancing this home for the holidays is the creative design team at Bowring, Danielle Oke Interiors, Creative Edge, Colour Paradise, Pretzelicious and Bonnie Lous Caf.

70 Water Street East, Elora


This side-split home has been renovated and decorated by the talented owner of the Chanticleer Shop. It has a lovely French Country feel to it that is elegant and warm. Chanticleer has done the Christmas dcor along with WR Designs The Flower Co., Cedar Spring Nursery Ltd. and Cork Restaurant and The Village Olive Grove.
