Carpark
1. To p provide minimum 50m queue length along the service road for storage so that the queue will not affect the MSCP.

Layout

min

Fig g 1. Schematic sketches showing g the min 50m distance.

2. If there is insufficient distance to provide a 50m queue length, it is recommended that a 2-lane exit is introduced in y the service road layout.
Fig 2. Schematic sketches showing the 2-lane exit configuration.

1. To avoid p provision of circular ramps. p

Manoeuvrability

If circular ramps are designed due to site constraints, design to cater minimum width of 4 4.2m 2m for inner ramp driveway and 3 3.3m 3m for outside lane.

Safety

1. Motorcycle y lots on lower deck in clusters of not more than 10 lots. Otherwise, to provide sufficient spacing between the lots as fire break. 2. Avoid locating car wash bay facing downward car ramp and location unsafe for users (e g In front of ramps, (e.g. ramps next to staircases, staircases accessible lots and motor cycle lots)
