Q: What have ExxonMobil, Credit Suisse, HP, GSK and many employers in common with NTU?
Is it worth for me to invest one semester to do IA? I gain more work experience and possibly a chance to be recruited by the company if it uses attachment to spot talents. I like to take up additional electives so that I can gain more knowledge in those subjects. 10 weeks of work experience is good enough for me.
For 28 years, NTU has established a comprehensive Industrial Attachment programme to equip our graduates with practical knowledge and skills that are relevant to industries that enable NTU graduates to compete in the globally competitive job market.
For Engineering students who are admitted in Semester 1 AY2011-2012 and after, under the BRC Curriculum, the various attachment offered are:
Attachment Type Industrial Orientation (IO) Industrial Attachment (IA) Enhanced Industrial Attachment (EIA) No. of AUs 4 8 12 Main Period May Jul Jan Jun Jan Aug Duration 10 weeks 20 weeks 30 weeks
