Natural gas

Natural gas Natural gas is a mixture of flammable gasses methane, butane and propane. Animal and plants that have been laying deep under the ground, becomes gas. It becomes gas because all the sand, rocks, mud and water makes pressure and heat and then it becomes natural gas. Oil is made by the same thing but if it is deeper it is more possibility that it becomes gas. Natural gas is used to cocking, fuel to vehicles and heating. It takes a lot of years to make natural gas this way, I dont know if there is another way to make it.

What is L. N. G? L.N.G stands for Liquid Natural Gas. They make L.N.G by cooling down the natural gas by 260 degrees Fahrenheit (126.7 degrees Celsius). By making L. N. G it makes it easier to transport, so instead for transporting the gas true pipes you just use big barrels and transport it via boat. The Liquid Natural Gas also can be used to power automobiles. About 65 million people use L.N.G to heat their home. L.N.G provides 40 percent of the industrial energy needs.

Natural gas in Mozambique Mozambique is a very poor country but recently in year 2010 they found gas out shore, way north up in Cabo Delgado. They are going to produce / sell a lot of the gas they found in Cabo Delgado in about five to ten years. Instead of transport true long pipes / tubes. They are going to make the gas to L.N.G and transport them in large barrels. So instead of using long tubes or pipes under the water that they have to place, the just move them with boats or ships. It has come more companies like Eia, Statoil and Anadarko, they came to produce Liquid Natural Gas.

Anadarko Anadarko is a big company with gas and oil. They heard about the founds in Mozambique and are probably going to invest money in it. If they are going to invest they are going to invest about $25 billion to $30 billion dollars. If they are going to invest they are investing in the production of Liquid Natural Gas in barrel transportation. All the money they have to invest is going to be used on things like port where all the boats are going to be while they are not shipping L. N. G, an building where they are going to make all the gas to L. N. G, pipes/ tubes to transport the gas from of shore to in shore to the building. They have to do it because there is no building, port or pipe/ tube in Cabo Delgado. So yeah thats what all that money is going to.
