ACTION PLAN
1. Fundraiser: Week of Oct. 21st, date to be determined.
~Capacity: about 120 people (to be verified by Vickey)
~Location: To be determined on campus (either Library Community Room or
Performance Hall Lobby)
~Children’s program with luncheon to follow (approx time 11:30 – 1:00)
~The YC Foundation will be helping organize this 1st annual FEC event. Kim Flores will be the
main person from the Foundation working on details
~We will compile a list of people to invite, and will make personal invites by phone
~Invite combination of larger donors, FEC families, & relatives
~Parents should begin thinking of people they know (relatives, etc…) who might be interested
in coming to event. Cost likely to be $75 per plate
~ Foundation is compiling lists of people to invite: past donors to FEC, AAUW, Foundation
Board, etc…
~ We will be looking for businesses to “sponsor” the luncheon/event
~ There will be different sponsorship levels (e.g. $500 - $2000 – each level gets different
things, e.g. 2 tickets, children’s artwork – Toni, Vickey and Kim w/ figure out levels)
~ If parents have ideas for sponsors it is probably best for them to make personal contact ,
once we have sponsorship details and script done; also people can email ideas to Toni (or
post info on Ning once it is up and running)
~Boston Culinary is willing to cater @ cost.
~Servers may be a combination of ECE students, parents & kids from FEC.
~Silent auction of student artwork.
~Artwork will be displayed several places on campus (and possibly online) before event
~Children to make gift and hand to each person at luncheon.
