Hardware Designers to Control Technologies

You will be part of Control Technologies in Vsters. Control Technologies is a unit within ABBs division Process Automation. The unit is responsible for development, marketing and sales of automation products, both hardware and software, as well as for monitoring, control and optimization. The unit has automation products for all types of industries. The concept Industrial IT provides unique opportunities to synchronize data from the manufacturing process with additional information systems within the company and to make the information available in real-time.

Tasks As one of our new Hardware Designers, you will work with innovative projects and follow them through the entire development process. Your task will be to develop advanced digital and analogue electronic devices for our control system 800xA. This implies, that you will participate in pre-studies as well as specify, implement, simulate and test electronic modules. Our customers and suppliers are located all over the world and some of the projects run in close collaboration with development colleagues in Germany and India. Requirements You have a Bachelor or Master of Engineering within Electronics and preferably a few years experience of VHDL-design.
