Remarks:
All members wore their Scott Masks until they ran out.Thereafter.we weren't given paper
masks until approximately 2 hrs. later.
OPERATIONS:
Prior to responding to WTC site E 266 was relocated To E-16 from 1030 hrs.
Upon arrival at Command Post near West St. we were given orders to only let authorized
vehicles into WTC area.We did this for approx. 1HR.
Then E 251 was ordered to relieve a pumper on Greenwich St. (near Liberty St.) that was
overheating and E 266 was to assist E 251 and Replace E 251 if needed.
FF.Tilearcio E 266 ECC remained with pumper and rest of E 266 went to assist in search
IFO quarters of E10/L10 under the supervision of D.C Espositp-P-15 until ordered to take-
up.
OPERATIONS:
E-268 was ordered to hook up to a water supply and then stood fast.

2 1/2" roil-ups and Multi-Versaf up to the 40th floor of the MaVnct Hotel and operated the
Muifi-Versa! through the window of the hotel, onto ths roof of 90 West st which xvas fully ;
involved. We operated there through the day and night
OPERATIONS:
E-315 REPORTED IN TO THE PARK ROW COMMAND POST. LT. RUBINO REPORTED IN
TO THE BC.E-315 WAS ORDERED TO STANDFAST.E-315 WAS NEARLY PUT TO WORK
SEVERAL TIMES INCLUDING AUGMENTING A PUMPER ON MURRAY AND CHURCH
STREETS-FOR WHICH LT. RUBINO WALKED THE SEVERAL BLOCKS TO THE LOCATION
BEFORE COMMITING THE APPARATUS. THIS PROVED UNECCESSARY AS THEY WERE
SHUTTING THE TOWER LADDER DOWN THAT WAS BEING SUPPLIED.AT 0530HRS. E-
315 WAS ORDERED TO TAKE UP AND AFTER CONTACTING THE DISPATCHER
RETURNED TO QUEENS.
ALL MEMBERS OF E-315 OPERATED WITH JHE ptlST MASK SUPPLIED AT SCENE.
OPERATIONS:
ECC. OPERATOR A PUMPER THAT WAS RELAYING WATER. THE REST OF CO. HELP TO
DIG FOR MEMBERS.DURING THE MORNING HOURS USED A HAND WITH IRON
WORKERS.
OPERATIONS:
While relocated to Engine-3, Engine 328 was special called to the WTC site. Engine 328
moved supplies and streched a hand-line into the main area of debris of the South tower.
Members of Engine 328 searched voids in the rubble and assisted with some light debris
removal. Engine 328 was ordered to return to quarters by the Command Post- B.C. Lyons

Remarks:
Responded to World Trade Center & received orders from D.C.Michael Weinlein to
operate Tower Ladder into building at 90 West St. and to alternate direction of stream
unto rubble of the World Trade Center Building.Ordered to shut down line and remove rig
from area due to a possible collapse of Scaffold and debri originating from structure of
building .
OPERATIONS:
Operated as a Tower Ladder in Fire Suppresion efforts,after being relieved of Tower
Ladder assignment.operated as a Team in Search and Rescue Mission for the remainder
ofthftday.
OPERATIONS:
Assisted E-251 stretching hoseline, Cleared WTC area under orders of BC McGowan for
demolition of South tower then stood fast until relieved.

L-127 STOOD FAST WERE ORDERDED BACK TO QUARTERS BY CHIEF CALAN
Operations: UNDER ORDERS OF B.C. MURPHY, BATT. 50, L-127 SET UP AND
OPERATED TL STREAM ONTO BLDG. #7 AND THE SURROUNDING DEBRIS. TOOK UP
ON ORDERS OF D.C. RAPPE, WEST COMMAND.

OPERATIONS:
Worked under direction of Ann Street command. Commenced operations from 2100hrs
thru OlOOhrs on 9/12/01. Searched Marriot Hotel building using thermal imaging camera.
Located deceased Department members, attempted to extricate from debris, unable.
Command notified of location.

Upon arrival reported to DC Blaich, D-1. Ordered to set up and operate Tower Ladder
stream into burning collapsed rubble. After approximately 1 hour ordered to reposition
apparatus due to potential for further collapse. Set up Tower Ladder and operated stream
at this point into 90 West Street under command of DC Mosier D-8. Continued to operate
tower ladder as well as search rubble for missing members/civilians until ordered to take
up by DC Weinlein, D-3.

MEMBERS PERFORMED VARIOUS HYDRAULIC FUNCTIONS; SUCH AS EXTINGUISHING
COOLING DOWN WASHING DOWN AND KEEPING THE DUST DOWN. MEMBERS ALSO
SCANNED THE AREA FOR REMAINS WHILE THE CRANES REMOVED DEBRIS.

LADDER 155 OPERATED THE BUCKET TO EXT1NGUSH FIRES AT VAR1CK ST. AND
CHURCH ST. SUPPLIED BY ENG 236.
OPERATION:
L158 acting L8 was special called for relief purposes @ 0100 hrs. Ordered by BC Lyons to
monitor crane operations at the corner of Church and Liberty. Also operated 1 3/4"
hoseline onto pile near that location.
OPERATIONS:
L-165 relocated to the qtrs. of L-18. At aproximately 1700 hrs. responded to box 8087,1
Liberty Plaza. L-165 operated under Bn.-50 @ Vessey and West Command Post. L-165
operated at a basement fire near 7 W.T.C., then were assigned to operate with
construction crane on debri field for remainder of tour.
