3 Degrees Marketing is proud to be working with Cirque du Soleil to explore commercial partnerships for the upcoming 2014 - 2015 TOTEM tour. This document aims to provide a brief overview of the TOTEM tour along with the opportunities that exist for a select few brands to align themselves with Cirque du Soleil and leverage the Cirque du Soleil brand and TOTEM experience. In 2014 - 2015, Cirque du Soleils Australia & New Zealand Touring Shows will include 5 Big Top Cities, 340 Performances and 750,000 Attendees. The Show TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.

Inspired by many founding myths TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

Show facts TOTEMs world Premiere was in Montreal April 2010. TOTEM marks Robert Lepages second collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, following KA in Las Vegas.

Rights to Cirque IP & Media Integration


Select partners will have access to Cirque du Soleils vast library of IP including, imagery, footage, music, content etc. to help establish the foundation of a creative and unique advertising/marketing campaign specific to their brand. This IP can be used to activate across the relevant media channels including National advertising campaigns, digital platforms and retail campaigns. Presenting and Official Partners of TOTEM are fully integrated into Cirque du Soleils touring show media campaigns across their designated territories.

Average Media Mix : TV Commercials: 50% Radio Spots: 20% Print Ads 15% Digital 15% In addition to the media campaigns, Presenting and Official Partners are fully integrated on Cirque du Soleil touchpoints throughout the venue including: Logo on backlit sign inside the Big Top Logo on Thank You TVs in VIP reception area Logo on branded Sponsor Trees Logo on TVs in concession tents

Consumer Facing Initiatives


Entertaining millions of fans each year, Cirque du Soleil works with sponsors and partners to create an on-site experience showcasing their product or brand. Cirque will work with partners to build a dedicated footprint within the Touring Show venues, allowing partners to interact with an engaging and captive audience. This exhibit would be integrated into various elements of front house entry points, offering clients prime positioning to consumers. An onsite activation could include unique customer experiences and/or sampling and demonstrations.

VIP Hosting Opportunities & Special Events


Cirque du Soleils exclusive hosting opportunities allow Partners the chance to leverage the Cirque du Soleil experience across many different avenues, providing a unique opportunity for first class entertainment and hospitality. VIP Hosting Opportunities: Cirque du Soleil offers partners exclusive opportunities to host their VIP guests. Opening Night/Premiere tickets Invite only, red carpet experience Semi-private lounge events; VIP reception area VIP Rouge tickets Pre-show appetizers and open bar Intermission coffee and dessert Parting gift Customised Cirque du Soleil Performances Cirque du Soleils creative team can work with Partners to create a custom Cirque du Soleil performance to entertain business partners, clients, etc. during conferences, product launches, sales meetings or other important events. Events are scalable based on objectives, ranging from 10-20 min performances within an existing setting to creating a complete environment filled with Cirque acrobatics.

Cirque du Soleil Fan Days Cirque du Soleil Fan Days are a unique way for Partners to host employees, clients and their families at a fun and inspiring experience. Hosted prior to matinee shows Cirque du Soleil artists host & interact with guests; demonstrating and teaching Circus skills Face painting for kids Family photo opportunity with Cirque du Soleil characters and framed copy to take home Best-in-house seats Dessert and coffee reception at intermission Custom Cirque du Soleil-themed gift bag for each guest.
