Shaykh, what is being spread about Shaykh 'Ali Hasan al-Halabee is not hidden from you, so
what
should be the position of the Salafi in this matter?

Answer from Shaykh 'Abdul'Azeez bin Rayyis ar-Rayyis:

The position of the Salafi is that indeed Shaykh Ali Hasan is a noble Salafi with whom Allaah
has
brought benefit due to his blessed efforts. Likewise, all of the Salafi Mashaa'iykh then
if they err
then their error is not to be accepted yet he is not to be dropped. He remains good
and virtuous
however it is not correct to drop him due to a partial error then what about if it is

No problem at all! For they are all virtuous and upon good, and a Salafi scholar or Salafi
student is
not dropped on account of an error. If he commits an error he is to be advised in a way which
is
closer to righteousness and in a good way especially when we are in a time of strangeness
when we
are being attacked from all angles. So these things have to be taken into consideration. What
also has
to be taken into consideration is that shiddah in refuting wherein the one refuting wants to
drop the
person then this cause a huge gulf among the Salafis and differing. So the masaalih and
