Continuum CyberStation Release Notes Version 1.94 SP1 New Features Microsoft SQL 2012 support Role Based Security For more information on Role Based security please see the Security Editor topic in the online help. 1. . CyberStation Released 1.1 Electronic Documentation 2. Known Problems in 1.94 SP1 Note: For known problems in previous revisions please refer to the that revisions readme.htm. 2.01 2.02 2.03 2.04 2.05 2.06 Install of 1.94SP1 may give "Error executing Continuum\setup.exe" error. Windows Server 2003 reboots pc after installing .NET 4.0 full version at beginning of installation. Uninstallrequesting Symantec applications be closed. CyberStation installs .NET 4.0 but not .NET 3.5 SP1. When upgrading from 1.91 to 1.94 SP1 an "Error 1001" is seen during installation. An upgrade on a Windows Server 2008 32-bit will require a reboot near the end of the install.

Problems Fixed 3.01 CyberStation crashes after a folder's owner accidentally set to itself or it's child folder. 3.02 Continuum Analyzer report includes no information on Continuum or SQL when run on Win764 bit machine. 3.03 EventViews show door alias not uiname on subscriber workstations. 3.04 When a graphic is opened it renders differently than previous versions. 3.05 Personnel FIPS expiration date incorrectly distributed on change of personnel current area. 3.06 Duplication of personnel object name. 3.07 Pinpoint shows scroll bar when the Configuration has the Scroll Bars checkbox. 3.08 Copying objects/controls of a graphic and pasting them to the same graphic changes the Canvas size to -22369612.000. 3.09 Schedule listview shows MFC and RPC errors if displaying value attribute live on BACnet schedule. 3.10 CyberStation sends out Change-Of-Bitstring to 3rd party BACnet alarm recipients when an alarm from a BCX is acknowledged by the CyberStation. 3.11 Alarms that use sound files do not stop sounding when the alarm deactivation condition has been met. 3.12 Behavior of Web browser control changed in PinPoint. 3.13 ACCDataServices crashes on CyberStation. 1. 1.1 Electronic Documentation Please note: The documents installed below are the 1.94 Release documents. They have not been updated for this service pack. All relevant install information for this revision is in the 1.94SP1 readme.htm. For compatibility questions please refer to the compatibility matrix that is included with this release. Fully indexed electronic versions of the following manuals (and many more) are included in the install image for this release. These are .PDF files, which are installed during the Continuum installation process. You may use your Windows Start menu to access them. Select Programs, then Continuum , then Documentation . Known Problems 2.01 Install of 1.94SP1 giving errors . Description In some cases the install of 1.94SP1 may give "Error executing Continuum\setup.exe" error. Workaround - Make sure the latest windows updates are installed. Source of Change Engineering Problem Report Number: QC838 Backward Compatibility Issues None 2.02 Windows Server 2003 reboots after installing .NET 4.0 full version at beginning of installation. Description CyberStation and web.Client v1.94 SP1 require the full version of .NET 4.0 Framework to be installed. This is done during the Continuum pre-requisite portion of the install. If the installation is done on a Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP pc then the computer will automatically reboot after the .net framework is installed. The user is required to restart the CyberStation or web.Client installation (run setup.exe).The service pack install will resume where it left off. Note: the installation will detect if .NET 4.0 Framework is already installed and skip that portion of the setup. 2.03 Uninstallrequesting Symantec applications be closed. Description In some circumstances it may be necessary to uninstall Continuum if a problem occurred during the initial installation.If the computer has Symantec Anti-Virus installed then Continuum will require a reboot at the end of the uninstall. A message box will appear giving the user the option of automatically closing Symantec applications or leaving them running. In many cases IT administrators prevent users from stopping or disabling anti-virus protection. It is recommended that you select the second option Do not close applications and manually reboot the computer after Continuum has been installed. Source of Change Engineering Problem Report Number: QC873 Backward Compatibility Issues None 2.04 CyberStation installs .NET 4.0 but not .NET 3.5 SP1. Description CyberStation and web.Client require the installation of .NET 3.5 SP1 and 4.0. While .NET 4.0 is part the Continuum install you still need to .NET 3.5 SP1 manually.

We provide it on the Continuum Resource CD or you can download it as part of MS Windows Updates. Source of Change Engineering Problem Report Number: QC905 Backward Compatibility Issues None 2.05 When upgrading/uninstalling from version 1.91 to 1.94 SP1 an "Error 1001" is seen during installation of 1.94SP1. Description During un-install of 1.91 you will receive two errors. Disregard these errors as it is an issue with the 1.91 un-install process. These errors are benign and will not cause any issues during the 1.94SP1 installation. Source of Change Engineering Problem Report Number:QC788 Backward Compatibility Issues None 3.13 ACCDataServices crashes on CyberStation Description Service Pack 1 addresses many ACCDataServices crashes within CyberStation. Areas that fixes have been made to are the Alarm Engine, Access Event engine, PinPoint graphics, and Extended log gathering. There have also been some fixes made for memory leaks which could have been contributing to the crashes as well. Backward Compatibility Issues None
