The following notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh extra-ordinary Gazette dt.24.09.2010.

Notification:

In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Engineering Including Technology / Pharmacy / Architecture and Planning courses (through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007 issued in the G.Os 3 rd and 4 th read above, read with sub rule (V) of Rule 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (For Professional courses offered in Private Un- aided Professional Institutions) Rules, 2006 issued in the G.O 2 nd read above and in pursuance of the resolution of the Committee (AFRC) dt.9.9.2010, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby notify the following Fee structure for PG Engineering including Technology, Architecture & Planning courses, PG Pharmacy course and Graduate Level Pharm D (P.B) in Private Unaided Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

(1) For PG Engineering (including Technology), Planning courses

The tuition fee is fixed:

at Rs.57,000/- (Rupees Fifty seven thousands only) per annum for each student for ‘A’ category seats (70%);

--

upto Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees one lakh twenty five thousands only) per annum for each student for ‘B’ category seats (30%); and

-- upto 6,000 U.S Dollars/- (Six thousands U.S. Dollars only) per annum for each student to be admitted in supernumerary seats not exceeding 15% of the total intake of students in each Course with the approval of AICTE to be filled with NRIs/ Students of Foreign Nationals / Children of Workers in Gulf Countries as classified in G.O.Ms.No.153, dt.22.8.2007 as Amended by G.O.Ms.No.168, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.11.9.2007 For PG Engineering including Technology, Architecture and Planning Courses in the Private Unaided Colleges for the academic years 2010-11; 2011-12 and 2012-13;

2. For Post Graduate Pharmacy Courses; The Tuition fee is fixed:

at Rs,1,10,000/- (Rupees one lakh ten thousands only) per annum for each student in ‘A’ Category Seats (70%);

upto Rs.2,25,000/- (Rupees two lakhs twenty five thousands only) per annum for each student in ‘B’

-- upto 7,000 U.S. Dollars/- (Seven thousand U.S. Dollars only) per annum for each student to be added in super- numerary seats not exceeding 15% of the total intake of students in each Course with the approval of PCI to be filled with NRIs / Students of Foreign Nationals / Children of Workers in Gulf Countries as classified in G.O.Ms. No.153, Dt.22.8.2007 as amended by G.O.Ms.No.168, HE (EC.2) Dept., dt.11.9.2007 for PG Pharmacy Courses in the Private Unaided Colleges for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13;

3. For Graduate level Pharm D (P.B) Course:

The Tuition Fee is fixed:

--

at Rs.68,000/- (Rupees sixty eight thousands only) per annum for each student for ‘A’ Category seats as contemplated in Cl.No.3(b) of G.O.Ms.No.153, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.22.8.2007.

--

up to Rs.1,55,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty five thousands only) per annum for each student in ‘B’ Category seats as contemplated inCl.3 © of G.O.Ms.No.153, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.22.8.2007; and

--

upto 6,000 U.S. Dollars/- (Six thousands U.S Dollars only) per annum for each NRIs/ Students of Foreign Nationals / Children of Workers in Gulf Countries to be Admitted in “Supernumerary seats”, if any, not exceeding 15% of the total intake of seats with the approval of AICTE as contemplated in Rule 3 (e) of G.O.Ms.No.153, HE (EC.2) Dept., Dt.22.8.2007 for Graduate Level Pharm.

D (P.B) Course in the Private Unaided Colleges for the Academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

The Government hereby also notify the following fee amounts as fixed by Admission and Fee Regulatory committee under various heads towards Special Fee for PG Engineering including Technology, Architecture & Planning Courses and PG Pharmacy Course for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 as specified below:-

(A) The Private Un-aided Engineering including Planning and Architecture Colleges are permitted to collect the following amounts as Special Fee for PG Engineering (M.E/ M.Tech / M.Arch. / M.Plg) Courses:

(i) Rs.2,000/- as one time payment per student at the time of admission towards Admission / Registration / Recognition fees and out of the said amount of Rs.2000/-, so collected Rs.500/- shall be remitted by the Institution to the concerned University, and the remaining amount of Rs.1,500/- shall be retained by the Institution.

(ii) Rs.3,000/- per annum per student during the 2

year Course towards students related special services rendered by them as detailed below and the said amount shall be retained by the Institutions:-

(B) The Private Un-aided PG Pharmacy Colleges are permitted to collect the following amounts as Special Fee for PG Pharmacy Courses:

(i) Rs.2,000/- as one time payment per student at the

time of admission towards Admission / Registration / Recognition fees and out of the said amount of Rs.2000/-, so collected Rs.500/- shall be remitted by the Institution to the concerned University, and the remaining amount of Rs.1,500/- shall be retained by

the Institution.

(ii) Rs.3,000/- per annum per student during the 2

year Course towards students related special services rendered by them as detailed below and the

said amount shall be retained by the Institutions:-

(iv)

Rs.500/- towards Library deposit and an amount of Rs.500/- towards Laboratory deposit (total Rs.1000/-) by way of refundable caution deposits at the time of admission only as one time payment.

(C) The Private Graduate Level Pharm D (P.B) Colleges are permitted to collect the following amounts as Special Fee for Graduate Level Pharm D (PB) Course:

(1) Rs.2,000/- as one time payment per student at the time of admission towards Admission / Registration / Recognition fees and out of the said amount of Rs.2000/-, Rs.500/- shall be remitted by the Institution to the concerned University, and the remaining amount of Rs.1,500/- shall be retained by the Institution.

3. Rs.500/- towards Library deposit and an amount of Rs.500/- towards Laboratory deposit (total Rs.1000/-) by way of refundable caution deposits at the time of admission only as one time payment.

The above tuition fee is fixed for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 subject to a provision for neutralization of inflationary impact to the required extent basing on the official rate of inflation as notified by the RBI / GOI after considering the various parameters of the cost structure of the Professional Colleges at the beginning of the academic years 2011-12 and 2012-13.

The following directions are also given to all the concerned Post Graduate Engineering including Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture and Planning Colleges Graduate Level Pharm D (PB) Colleges:-

The Managements of the Colleges have been informed not to charge any Capitation Fee and there shall not by any Profiteering. Except the above Fee fixed by the Committee, no other amount, either directly or indirectly, can be unauthorisedly charged by the Management. If any such other amount is charged under any other head or guise (e.g, donation etc.) it would amount to charging of Capitation Fee. The surplus (profit) that is generated from the collection of the Fee must be for the benefit of the Institution, and can not be diverted for other purposes or for personal gain.

The students admitted to the course during the academic years 2007-08, 2008-09 & 2009-10 shall continue to pay every year the same annual tuition fee as paid at the time of their admission till they complete the course.

The students who were admitted in the college prior to the academic year 2007-08 shall continue to pay every year the same annual fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the courses.

The institution shall collect the Annual Tuition fee every year in advance only for that particular year either in a lumpsum or in installments, if it so opts.

The Management of the Institutions are informed that fixation of the Fee Structure by the Committee will not by itself enable or permit the managements to run the relevant courses in their institutions, if these are otherwise not duly recognized and permitted by the Government or AICTE / FCI / Concerned University at any relevant time.

The above Tuition Fee is fixed for the academic year 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 subject to provision for neutralization of inflationary impact to the required extent at the beginning of the academic years 2011-12 and 2012-13.
