Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: (i) (ii) Identify adjectives in the sentences given by circling them. Write a poem about Sarawak using adjectives.
Previous knowledge: Pupils have been learning about Malaysia. They have been looking at the map of Malaysia, flag of the different states in Malaysia as well as the places of interest. Pupils are familiar with topics about places of interest. Pupils read a text about Penang in previous lesson. Teaching aids: Poster, handouts, pictures, flashcards Moral value(s): Patriotism (Love our state) Educational Emphasis: Thinking skills (creative thinking); values and citizenship.
