SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:

Eyes – Contact can cause moderate irritation. May cause moderate corneal injury, which may result in permanent impairment of vision, even blindness. Skin – Brief contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact may cause more sever irritation and discomfort, seen as local redness and swelling. Ingestion – May cause abdominal discomfort, nausea, and diarrhea. Inhalation – Mechanically generated mist may cause irritation to the respiratory tract.

FIRST AID:

Eye Contact – Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 30 minutes. Consult physician, preferably an ophthalmologist. Skin Contact – Immediately flush with copious amounts of water then soap and water for at least 5 minutes. If irritation persists, contact physician. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. Ingestion – Drink several glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation – Remove to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms persist.
